I don't expect much for $40 bucks for a motel Room and this was a smoking room so I called the manager and asked for a can of room deodorizer and he came down and sprayed something that helped, I went to Arby's for a roast beef sandwich and came back after letting the place air out;. I do have... More

All hotels were booked for last weekend, or the couple that did have vacancy were $249/night with a two night minimum. Then I happened to call the Big Ten Inn and secured a room for $89 a night! The room was dated yes, but the important thing is it was very clean. The room was also equipped with a small... More

This was a late night check in on a long cross country drive and the goal was basic bed and shower. This is exactly what I got. The property isn't pretty and is actually a little tired with well worn carpet, a musty smell and some holes in the sheets. That said, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable,... More

Decent place if you don't want to spend alot of money, had most of the basics, but nothing more. I stayed there for 4 nights for a conference at the Marriott. Their are pros & cons to staying here. Things to know about this place: No staff on site between midnight-6am. The building & rooms are older & a little... More

When I made my reservation I had my doubts. So cheap and to look at the building not atractive at all. But, when I got into my room I was more than pleased. Vary clean. I've stayed in some nice places all over the world and this by far was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed at.... More

I made a reservation on line for Saturday. That night, a few minutes before midnight, I arrived at the Big Ten Inn, and the door was locked. I pressed the door bell and there was no answer. I called the phone number for the motel and got a greeting saying my call was "very important" but not saying that no... More

That's what I was told when the desk clerk said they were out of the 'cheap' rooms and I said I might go across the street to a different motel. The place is nice, I paid less than $50, heat in the room was already on (that is rare these days). Lounge closed in November, it's for sale. Been here... More
