We reserved this based off their website. After reservations were made, I found the reviews here on TripAdvisor and became a little nervous. We went ahead and tried it and it wasn't that bad, but it's not that great. Reserving was easy and they were very helpful as we were meeting with another camper and we wanted spots together. No... I am normally a trip advisor reader before I stay most places. Not sure why I didn't look here first for reviews about this page. My first clue should have been that the web page for this place only has picutres of decorated golf carts. They make it sound like a wonderful place to stay from looking at their page.... More

Where to start.. Very noisy as it is right on Hwy 30. All you hear are big trucks keeping you awake at night and the train too. The day we moved in they told us what lot to go to, never did drive us to our spot. Our hook up pole was being used by another camper and so we... More

the OWNER is very rude for being a businessman - if you say anything about the campground, which there is many complaints, he will tell you to pack up - your camper has wheels, very very rude, unless you are partying with him and giving him drinks you are his best buddy....as we saw.. not courteous to his customers....tells us... I've read the below reviews and am really surprise. The owners of this place are the friendliest people. My family has the best time here and have been coming here for years. The spots are very nice and the year round campers and others are the friendlest I've met. I've made life long friends from camping here. My kids love... More

Don't stay here, the owners don't care about the campers. We stayed here last summer and wanted to leave so bad but we prepaid for our stay. His dog was always running loose and peed on our tent. The owner didn't apologize or even care, he even got angry with me and asked me to leave. Then the next day... More

We stayed at the Twin Anchors Campground Friday, September 21 2012. We arrived early that afternoon and stayed just one night. I wish I had found the first review of this campground before deciding to stay here. We had originally picked this campground because it was close to our destination and it was advertised to have a beach, a petting... More

This campground is nearly full of year rounders who use the campground as a babysitter for their kids, this means that the MANY kids here are unruly, rude, and not controlled. While there is an 11:00pm quiet time, it is not enforced and the kids run around the campgrounds at all hours being very disruptive by screaming, driving load golf... More
