Comfort, homey, great location, well-maintained! We were overjoyed at the comfort level and roominess at the Red Cedar Lodge. The grounds have several fire pits areas and the views outside are beautiful.

Enjoyed our stay with the family, nice property, enjoyed the Setting, but $25.00 extra per person, per night for an RV is steap considering my 5th wheel, is completely self contained, all I needed was electric. So between my wife and I, 2 nights for $100 is very expensive. For that price I could of stayed at a nice water... More

Thank you for the feedback. We are disappointed that after spending time on 3 phone calls prior to your arrival and the understanding that we are not a campground that you choose to take this route. We graciously invited your group to "overflow" and park your RV and explained the costs up front. RV's, campers or tents are not customary... More

Our Art group stayed at the Red Cedar Lodge last October. The place we had always held our retreats at went up for sale and so we were looking for a new location and found this one in the Midwest Living magazine. To say it was perfect was an understatement! What an awesome place to stay. There were 6 of... More

My husband and I visited Red Cedar Lodge for our 10th anniversary and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The cedar cabins are beautiful, and the opportunity to take in the natural landscape was a huge plus. We enjoyed watching the sunrise by the river, afternoons with books by the fireside and evenings in the hot tub. A wonderful... More

My husband and I absolutely LOVE the Red Cedar Lodge. You get the best of both worlds, a rustic outdoors getaway without the hassle of camping. The cabins are actually more like beautiful, spacious and comfortable homes. Tom and Lorraine make you feel right at home. We highly recommend it!

We're so pleased you enjoyed the best of both worlds! The beautiful outdoors and campfires mixed with pillow top plush beds, a full kitchen and hot shower are so much easier to take than camping as we get older :) We've enjoyed our share of camping too! Thank you for the very nice review and we hope to welcome you... More

Had a great family outing at Red Cedar Lodge. Good times around the fire ring, biking, fishing and playing our newly invented game Frisbee Horshoes. The canoe/ kayaking trip was great! Not too difficult for the kids to manage the waters. Saw Bald Eagles and caught crawdads!

We rented two cabins for a family reunion weekend. They were beautiful and clean. We took full advantage of both the well equipped kitchen and the outdoor grill. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice. We especially enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds in the early morning. We enjoyed every minute and look forward coming back.
