Beautiful accommodations - clean, well-maintained, and fairly modern guest rooms and meeting/banquet rooms set up in an atrium style. Well...all Marriotts are not created equally. Mgmt here apparently did not read Willard's book. I'm guessing that at best it's a repurposed John Q. Hammonds when it fell below their quality standards. Torn and pilling sheets, tub is cracking and housekeeping can't get the staining out of the cracks, shower curtain is soap (I hope) caked. Few hotels are run with class. This is one that is. From management on down, excellent. I opted for the concierge level for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I liked the private room for chillin in the evening or for breakfast in the morning. I paid cash for my room and gave my Drivers license and Military ID while checking in. Ordered room service and asked if I needed to pay up front ($14.78) when it was delivered I was told no and just signed for it. No problem I will pay when I check out. The female night shift clerk was not very personable. Everybody else was awesome. Two of my pillows had BO. I put a note on them and asked that they not be used. They were not used but were not replaced. Woe be unto the next guest.
