Sometimes treasures in Iowa are right around the corner. My husband and I recently celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary and wanted to get away for the weekend. We wanted something different but not too far away. I saw the reviews on this site and thought why not. When we walked into our room, I was so surprised by the beauty... more

Needed to get away for a while so my wife and I stayed at the Catfish Bend Inn. We stayed in a king room on the second floor. The bathroom was huge. The shower is awesome, great shower head, and big enough for two people. The bed was very comfortable. Huge flat screen TV. Short walk to the casino and... more

We went to Burlington for family visit, and someone recommended staying here after a bad stay in same town at the Fairfield Inn. We will never go anywhere else in this town. The rooms were beautiful, decorated very nicely. Can't say enough about them-the photos that are uploaded are like the one we had. Loved the casino, small but nice... more

If you happen to be in Burlington, and are the gambling type that likes to relax, enjoy a happy hour, go bowling, swim, have a spa treatment, enjoy a mature clientele in your hotel, do some major water slides in the summmer, and don't want to spend a lot OR leave the property, go here. I have been referring to... more

We stayed here for two nights and it was a very pleasant experience. Paige was outstanding in providing customer service. The room was very nice and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. I am a very picky traveler and this hotel experience was certainly one of our better hotel experiences! more

We came to Burlington for a Class Reunion and decided to book a room at Catfish Bend Inn & Spa since the facility was hosting our Saturday night reunion event. I hadn't stayed there before but REALLY liked the idea of it being separated from the FunCity/Pzazz side of the property and the fact that it was "adults only". We... more

Stayed here for a wedding. Nice hotel. i have 2 bad things about this place. 1. They won't let you check in early at all. 2. The Security Officers at the Casino are morons and need to be retrained (Tips). Fun place to hang with the guys. more

We received an offer by e-mail for a discounted rate for this hotel or the Best Western adjacent to it. We chose the Catfish Bend Resort and Spa because it was adult only and we felt it would be relaxing and quiet. It was a beautiful place. The rooms we spacious and quite attractive. The bathroom was very luxurious and... more

We have family in Burlington, so we've stayed at a few places... never have I been as happy as I was at Catfish Bend. From check-in the experience was top-notch. After they asked us if we were interested in thier complimentary turn down service (absolutely), they asked what we would like with turn down. We had our choice of a... more
