We arrived in time for the 5 pm snack at Bonaparte Inn B&B. We were delighted to meet another couple who were also guests at this beautiful B&B. The Inn has 10 rooms, but only the four of us were guests the night we stayed here. Meeting other people is one of the perks to staying in an Inn or... More

To use elevator I felt I was troubling the kindest employees if I wanted to go to or from our room on floor two. The employees said it was no problem. The alternate a steep stairs. I highly commend the chef and staff ~ they made our 4 days nice. There for a family reunion. I would say the employees... More

My wife and I stayed here when we attended our friends' wedding in Farmington, IA. The owners did a great job of converting a 19th century manufacturing facility into a great inn. We stayed in the whirlpool suite. The ceilings were 15-20 ft tall with fans that kept the air moving nicely. It was very roomy and clean. The bathroom... More

Lovely B&B-staff very friendly and helpful-beautiful room-the William Meeks room-large and very clean and filled with antiques! The breakfasts were great and very filling! Quiet and serene settings with a beautiful garden and a great view of the river from our room. A wonderful place to relax and get connected again with your significant other!

I'm always cautious about ever "acknowledging" a review from a TripAdvisor "member" if they have only made one review. Those of us who have been on "TripAdvisor" for a long time know this. Consequently, as I was perusing some of my favorite places and came upon the very suspicious review with "Thieves! Beware" as their title, I was both saddened... More

Nice room for a family of four with comfy beds. Loved the historical authenticity. We enjoyed exploring the artifacts relating to the history of the building as a pants factory. Staff was very accomodating to special requests. Excellent breakfast at the Inn especially the hashbrowns! Great restaurant across the street for a nice dinner. Would love to stay here again.

Stayed there new years eve. Held the room with credit card. Was charged three times. The first charge was accurate. The second charge for 44.10 was for who knows what. The third for 250 for supposedly damaging the shower. I cleaned the room before we left. It was immaculate. Strongly advise against ever visiting this establishment!

Wes, In response to your accusation that we at THE BONAPARTE INN are thieves is very upsetting to me. You have taken some facts and twisted them to justify your position. You absolutely were informed of each of the charges. The initial charge was for the room with the additional guests that you included. The second charge of $44.10 was... More

We stayed here as we were having a Christmas dinner at the Bonaparte Retreat (which is right across the street). It was awesome. The decor was true to the age of the building and the staff were more than curteous. The breakfast was a treat as well as the snacks and the bar drinks the evening before. It is not... More

We enjoyed our stay here as it was short walk or drive for us to see everything we wanted to do in our stay. This is a converted pants factory & the entire inn is furnished in a 19th century theme. The rooms are very nice, but very expensive. We stayed in the lowest price room which was $120.00 &... More

Where to begin the rooms and hotel were nice, but pricy considering the area and amenities they provided. The service though is a completely different story all together. The hotel staff were really quite nice, but the overall poor attitude, rudeness, and complete disregard for guest needs by the hotel manager and owner Jerry overshadowed everything else. I would strongly... More
