The staff was fine, the room was fine. Don't think I don't know choices can be limited in W Lafayette. Still, the building itself was slightly bizarre: the layout is confusing and the room numbering system is anything but intuitive. We walked around for 15 minutes trying to navigate weird back hallways and a random spiral staircase trying to get... More

The location is good for us. If you plan on staying here, you may want to stay in a room not close to the pool. The pool closes per the from desk at 10:30pm. We had a long trip and couldn't turn in early because of the noisy adults and children. The rooms are a nice size but the beds... More

Starting with the basics: This is a perfectly acceptable hotel given the price and the location (if you need to be close to Purdue) is outstanding. The service is warm and reflective of the friendly reputation of Indiana. If you have kids, they will like the indoor pool (think 1970’s era Holi-dome). The restaurant serves up a very nice breakfast... More

The hotel isn't fancy and it looks dated, but it was clean and comfortable. We were there for a quick business trip, so we weren't expecting much. There's a bar within the hotel that served food, which was convenient. I wish breakfast had been provided, but it wasn't a big deal. The staff members we dealt with were friendly and... More

Booked here by corporate travel so we weren't paying for it so overlooked the dumpy exterior and empty parking lot. The place looks like it is abandoned. When we walked in, the lobby showed some promise so decided to roll with it and not call to get rebooked. That was a mistake. The whole place has a funky smell that... More

Worst customer service I have ever seen at a hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay at a Marriott or Hilton property. Please beware of the fact the rate they quote you on the phone might not be the rate you get when you check out. The bathrooms are extremely small and the noise from the pool area carries into... I've read some of the negative reviews for this hotel, and I'm somewhat surprised. I stayed here in early March, 2015, and overall I had a very good experience. Sure, it's not the Waldorf Astoria, but it's a good value with a very good location, especially if you're visiting Purdue. My room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff... More

This place reminds me of a women's prison... Cell blocks and all. If you are in the pool atrium area, forget about sleep before 11 PM --- the noise bounces off of everything and penetrates all rooms. The smell of pool bleach is overpowering, in fact I still smelled it when I came home and unpacked...it had permeated my luggage... More

We were not impressed by this hotel. They do have an indoor pool, however heated is not a word I would use to describe it. Our children's lips turned blue after 10 minutes of "swimming." Luckily we did a scavenger hunt for towels beforehand, and managed to swipe the 3 towels that were brought by the staff to "replenish" the... More

40 rooms @ $99/night. In February. For 10+ years. This describes the rental history of our group at this hotel. Add to that fact that we were one of at least three groups there. The front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. The rooms were super-clean, super-quiet (away from the pool area), and well-appointed. We had more than enough room... More
