My daugther and I stayed overnight at this hotel on our way to Owensboro Kentucky. We are seasoned travelers and I was absolutely amazed to find this hotel in the middle of "nowhere"! We were unable to see the surrounding because it was evening. But in the morning, we saw just how beautiful everything was. The little town of Vevay... more

When you pull in you will be amazed. The rooms are large, comfy, clean, and you can walk right out of your room and you are about 30' from the river bank. Every person there is wonderful, and because I travel throughout the midwest I would recommend a little trip to Vevay....IT IS WORTH THE MONEY !!!!!!!! more

Great Management!.... Great room........ When is the last time you stayed at a Best Western and had a Microwave AND a refrigerator in your room? Room was clean AND had a balcony to enjoy the outside when you wanted. Upon checkin we were meeted by a Crystal and Damon who treated us like we were staying at a 4 star!... more

Our high school class booked the majority of the hotel for a 60th Birthday Party and the staff from hotel management to houskeeping are absolutely top notch - friendly, helpful and totally accommodating! Our banquet was incredible and I highly recommend their menu. The hotel is beautiful and clean with well appointed rooms. The view of the river is a... more

Had tickets for Sara Evans concert, could not get comp for a Saturday night stay. Cost for room at Belterra was $249 and no breakfast, Ogle Haus $107 with waffles, fruit, danish, cereal, juice and coffee. Nice river view , large deck, cozy bar with televisions and can serve some bar food. more

We had a wonderful overnight stay at the Ogle Haus & really enjoyed ourselves. Everything has been updated, with nice furnishings & comfy beds. A couple of tips could make a stay here better. We had a corner lower floor room (#121) in the east wing of the building. We had great views of the river from both windows &... more

My wife and I booked a jacuzzi suite in the middle of January for a weekend for her birthday. The midwinter rates for this room were quite inexpensive. The room was just an incredible bargain. The jacuzzi tub was huge, which was just wonderful for two large people. The bed was so incredibly comfortable that we had our best sleeping... more

I stayed at the Ogle Haus because the Belterra was booked. Note that the Ogle Haus is only 7 miles from Belterra which was perfect. As it turned out the Best Western Ogle Haus Inn is currently owened by Belterra. It is a very beautiful hotel . Huge beautiful lobby with a nice bar area and a patio overlooking the... more

Will definitely stay here again if I'm back to the area. Nice and clean property. Right on the Ohio River scenic route, easy to find. Best of all, it is a nonsmoking hotel. Room had no smell at all. Great rates! Great staff. However, the town of Vevay doesn't have many restaurants. more
