Just off of the interstate. Very convienient to several fast food restaurants, but avoid the McDonalds. It was extremely busy (and had been all day they said), but help hadn't been called in to get them through these busy times. It was a nightmare for them as well as the customers. As for the hotel, the desk was very helpful.... More

Hotel wasn't bad, clean enough for a fifty dollar room, but word to the wise, if you aren't familiar with Indiana laws, you cannot buy cold beer except at liquor store. Oh and they don't charge extra for pets and staff was extremely pleasant.

We chose the Pear Tree because we have loved the Drury, especially since they welcome our dog, but were arriving late and didn't want to pay the higher price. Pear Tree shares a parking lot, and possibly management and houskeeping staff, with it's sister Drury next door. Yes, it is in need of updating as far as furnishings and bathroom.... More

We stayed here on a road trip. While the service was great (they promptly got us a crib even though we arrived after 1am), the room felt very dirty. The toilet had not been cleaned, one of the towels had stains, and the bed linens and carpet felt damp. I know this is a discount version of the Drury Inn,... More

Checked in very late one night after a horrible experience at a motel a block away. The night clerk was extremely friendly and efficient. The room was clean and very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep and a nice breakfast the next morning. I really appreciated that they didn't charge me extra for my pets.

It seemed strange that there should be 2 Drury Inns across the parking lot from each other, but this is the case in Terre Haute. Within a couple weeks, I stayed at both. The Pear Tree Inn is smaller but less expensive than the other Drury Inn (perhaps $30 or more, but I ended up with 2 different sized rooms,... More

Overall, not a bad stay... the staff is very friendly, and the stay was cheap (in the $50ish range). Parking was easy and well-lit. Starbucks is across the street, which is nice. Why so cheap compared to other places? The breakfast area is small, but hey - it is a free breakfast, so that's good. The TV is a regular... More

We were driving to Denver from Pittsburgh and looking for a great value hotel that was clean and right off of I-70. Pear Tree Inn was perfect because of price and location. It's the sister hotel of the Drury Inn without amenitites that we did not need like a swimming pool. Thus, the price is lower. The staff is excellent.... More

My wife and I stopped in without reservations (but did check TripAdvisor) and stayed at this PearTree Inn. They have a complimentary breakfast and a room that looks like a Drury Inn (minus the fridge and microwave). We paid around $76 for the night with taxes included. Good place for overnight - if staying for several days, or more, go... More

I stayed one night on my way back home to Connecticut, by myself. The room was luxury ttype surroundings. It had a fridge and micro wave, ice, on the 2nd floor, nice furnishings. With a coupon I had from a travel magazine I paid $47.00 with the tax included. Breakfast was okay, waffles, muffins, cereal, coffee orange juice. The staff... More
