We came here to attend "The Walk" and had to book a hotel last-minute, as a busted water pipe changed our previous plans to stay with a friend. There were no rooms available at all in Terre Haute, except I did find one at the Pear Tree--it was "accessible," but we were just so grateful to find a room. Of... More

Planned on staying at the Drury as in past travels, but it was booked. Decided to try Pear Tree as they were side by side. Renee at front desk convinced us that they were just as accommodating and we gave it a try. Yes they were. Super bed. Thank you.

Very nice hotel. It is way better than I expected. Easy access to food and highway. Nice and quiet room. Good breakfast. Friendly, sociable staff. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Our family lives in TH and so each time we visit we usually stay here at the Pear Tree. The rooms are comfortable, clean, undated and spacious enough for my husband and I. The employees are always pleasant, accommodating, and they go above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests. The breakfast is free and is a basic... More

Needed a place that accepted our dogs, but didn't want to spend a lot since we were justs traveling through. We have stayed in Terre Haute many times, but wanted to try Pear Tree. The bed was firm, pillows softer, both of which I prefer. It was very clean. They had popcorn , water & lemonade in the lobby, a... More

This is a smaller motel, beside a larger Drury Inn, but it simply surpasses anything around it. Smaller, nice, designed to be comfortable, and much nicer to my billfold. Just off I-70 so it is easy to find. Food sources close by, as is gas. Great staff! Too bad I can't find its' twin further east.

I am a regular at the Holiday Inn at Terre Haute but wanted to stay somewhere else a little cheaper this time. I chose the Pear Tree Inn and needless to say, I will now be a regular at the Pear Tree. I checked in after 6 pm and was greeted with a smile, the smell of fresh popped popcorn,... More

We stayed Dec 3rd and 4th, 2015. The hotel looked a bit run down, but the staff was nice and room 211 was quiet and spacious. After the first night, my wife, who slept in the bed near the window, started to get red marks. They got worse, spreading over her arms and neck. She reported it, but we have... More

We had stayed here last year and had a satisfactory stay. This year was a big disappointment. The towels were like sandpaper, the bed was too soft and on top of it all, my husband had small red insect bites on his leg in the morning. When I told the staff person, she apologized but did not seem surprised.
