At check-in, my reservation couldn't be found. The lobby and halls were hot, there was no air conditioning. I was sent to two rooms that were dirty, they had not been cleaned yet, it was 8:45 PM. We were finally given a room that had been cleaned, but was still dirty. There was food stuck on the walls, the toilet... more

We went to Terre Haute for a family reunion. We had booked 13 rooms for our whole family. When we go there, we got 7 rooms. So, we had to bunk with other family members. I even asked to speak with a manager about it, the front desk clerk said very rudely "he's not here right now". The hallways are... more

I normally check reviews before picking a hotel. We had planned on driving further, but I had an injured knee that was getting stiff so we picked the first hotel we found. The other reviews are right on! I asked for a room near the door because of my knee. We were given a room on the 4th floor at... more

After reading all these reviews, I'm laughing because they are all true! Complete dump, unacceptable conditions exist throughout the property. The "Days Inn" sign being dim should have been our first clue. Filthy carpet, complete and utter rundown appearance and non-existent staff all add up to a completely miserable experience. And, oh yeah, there were bugs... more

I wasn't expecting much. We were driving down I-70, weather got bad, and it was late. The rest stop coupon books had a great deal on this hotel, so we gave it a shot, expecting no frills, but a decent place. Was dirty, dark, cold, and the bed linens had holes in them. There are a few other budget options... more

The hotel was absolutely filthy. I have never stayed in a dirtier spot. No maintainence has been done on the facility. I can't believe that Days Inn has their name on this place. The person at the front desk was okay. more

We will never, ever stay at this place again, and probably not at any other Day's Inn if we can find any other place to stay. The bed rails were protruding out of the side of the box thing that was holding the bed up. The other bed had part of the box frame missing. A person could have gotten... more

Had two rooms. Carpet dirty throughout property, one elevator out of order, the other had no insp certificate and was dirty and scary, hallways smelled, dirty grout in shower, stains in toilet, hot/cold reversed on bath faucet, lousy reception on garage-sale TV, slimy bathroom floor, torn stained wall paper, filthy windows, only one sheet on bed, front desk would not... more

We stayed at the Terre Haute Days Inn on a Sunday night. We chose it because of location. A bit scruffy and down at the heels and in need of rennovation. Carpet in the public areas dirty and in need of cleaning. Room was clean but, like the public areas, needed upgrading. The AC had a musty smell. Continental breakfast... more

I have never stayed at a more horrible dump than I have at the Terre Haute Days Inn. I was there for a wedding, and the room and hallways smelled so bad I was afraid to take my bridesmaid dress into the hotel. There were stains of undeterminable origin everwhere, on the floor, bed spread, and walls (i'll let you... more
