Older hotel, but kept up. Newer furniture in the rooms. Flat screen TV, a bit smaller than most have. But they put money into the beds and linens, very comfortable. Toilet seat was broken. But that is on the guests to report mostly, and I also forgot to mention it. Although the maid should notice this during cleaning. Typical continental... More

Stayed one night with high-school cross country team for local meet. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and well-maintained at this older property. Location convenient to downtown and commercial area to the south. Would stay here again.

This was a last minute stay on our way back from Michigan. The pictures make it look nicer than it is, and its disappointing when you show up. The staff is friendly enough and the room was clean. Although in the elevator and in the hall it smelled smoky and dingy. Luckily the room was OK, or I would have... More

We needed a place to stay and were arriving late night. We got to the hotel at 12:30AM and they gave us a late checkout time of 12PM so that we weren't rushed the next morning considering we got in so late. Room was comfortable and got a good price through a travel guide book we picked up at a... More

Stayed here on a road trip. It was ok. Nothing too spectacular but nothing terrible either. We checked in on a nice evening in December and left the next morning I a snowstorm and 6 inches of snow. The hotel itself seemed clean and the staff was nice. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. I would stay here... More

Just a average room We stayed 2 nights and wasn't too happy to find our room didn't have a fridge. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't have a fridge in the room since 1995. The room was clean except for the laundry bag it had something all over it and the bathroom floor looked like it needed... More

We were in town for an online program orientation at St. Mary of the Woods. This hotel was very well located for our needs. Fifteen minutes from the college and only delayed by the train on a couple of occasions. There was road construction on 3rd St. But it was very easy to find our way around even with the... More

We stayed here for one night on our way back on a cross country trip. While I would not say this was a bad experience, several things were an inconvenience. They advertised Wi-Fi. When it did not work, I called the front desk. The poor overworked woman at the desk did not know anything abut how to fix it. When... More

Although this motel has received favorable comments on Trip Advisor I was disappointed in several things. The room was good looking, but there was no f ridge. Breakfast biscuits and gravy were cold, no cream cheese or bagels. It was cheaper than Best Western or Comfort Inn, so I guess we got what we paid for. However, we did not... More
