It wasn't that the building itself was dated... The interior hall was extremely stuffy, there wasn't any cool air or circulation on the second floor hall, and the hall ceiling light cover was cracked. Our room smelled of smoke and chemicals. We found bugs in the bed between the sheets. Room had not been cleaned, there was trash laying on floor in several different places. Bathroom tub was black from a heavy layer of soap scum and mold was along top of shower stall. Bathroom floor was cracked and each time the toliet was flushed, water came up through the crack.... more

I booked this hotel online. When I got to the hotel, I got the room key and went to the assigned room. The smell inside the room was horrible. Not sure what it was....it was a smoking room, so I expected somewhat of an odor, but this was not just cigarette smoke...it was a combination of smoke and something else.... more

If I could give this hotel a ZERO I WOULD!!I booked this hotel because of Trip Advisor's rave reviews. I am now inclined to believe that employees of the hotel made up the wonderful reviews! This hotel is newly renovated & remodled and has a excellent location in downtown terre haute. Travelodge has a friendly enviornment with friendly staff assisting your needs. We were in terre haute for a family reunion and loved the service Travelodge provided. Economy chain with a unique friendly touch. more

Made reservation on expedia. When arrived I realized I did not have a photo ID. My son was along and had his ID(same last name and address).
