Sorry this review is a little late, but I have stayed here a few times most recently Jan of this year 09. I was greeted warmly by a lady at the front desk and I was promply taken care of. Once though I opened the door to my room here is where the good and bad came about. The good..... more

We asked for a quiet room away from elevators. They put us in a first floor room by the back door. The only issue with that was the staff used that area near the back door to temporarily store the trash that needed to go out to the dumpster so from time to time it was a bit noisy. Otherwise,... more

This is a great stop in Terre Haute. We stayed one night while passing through. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Free Breakfast. Excercise room. Pool needs to be warmer though, unable to swim due to cold temperature. There are many commercial business's and eateries in the immediate area. Would stay again. more

I spent one night in the Hampton Inn on a drive east. I used Hilton Honors points for the stay, so price paid wasn't the issue, but the award redemption value was. I reserved a non-smoking room with two beds. The hotel is adjacent to I-70, so it was easy to access from the highway. My room did not face... more

I was never so embassed as having the housekeeper manager tell me that she managed a bunch of monkeys and she was the person that I had to let inside the building because she had no key. She is the manager of the department that keeps the building clean for the customers and she has hired the people to clean... more

Normally, we like the value of Hampton Inns. However, many of the older buildings are falling into decline like this one. The Hampton Terre Haute was worn, with very uncomfortable beds. It is situated between a busy highway and a 24-hour gas station, so that there is no quiet room. Hampton Inn should close this facility - it is not... more

Found the stay to be average. Room was large and clean, king size bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was my definition of standard: juice, cereal, yogurt, bagels & pastries, sausage bisquits, and coffee. Rated it average because I thought the rate was high ($110 per night) for the Terre Haute area for the services provided. more

Hotel was clean and room was large, but bed was exceptionally uncomfortable! I had two double beds, and even tried switching but both were equally bad. Sheets were itchy and they had that ugly non-breathable brown synthetic blanket that seems ubiquitous in some hotel chains these days. Yuk! Breakfast selections were 95% unhealthly -- difficult for someone who cares about... more
