We really liked this campground. It was small and intimate and quiet. The sites were a little close together, but that didn't seem to matter too much. Definitely better for campers and RVs than tents, but we found a good flat area on our site. The trails here were beautiful, running along the creek. One goes by the falls, which... More

I just got back from spending a weekend at McCormick's Creek State Park. I traveled from Indianapolis with my parents, sisters and our children. What a treat just one hour away! *Tons to do with the kids - horseback riding, hayride, hikes, swimming, caving and more! *Very clean and affordable family cabins.$63 a night and sleeps 6! *Awesome restaurant at... This place is beautiful as are many of Indiana's state parks that we've camped at. But wouldn't camp there again. Night shift DNR agent treated us like suspected criminals. We often camp with big groups and try to be conscious of our volume. But, geez, a kind reminder is all we need. First night he came around he suggested that... More

We camped here for 3 nights in our pop-up camper. We met 2 sets of friends here- one had a motor home and the other had a pop-up. We asked for 3 sites next to each other that were not too far from the restroom/bathing facilities. My lot (161) was fairly level and did not require me to put wood... More

A nice State Park in Indiana that you should visit. The inn is nice and there are many decent camping spots. The hiking is amazing and very fun to hike in the creek. They also provide riding stables, tennis courts, swimming pool and a game room. A nice small getaway. Recommended!

Great trails through beautiful nature. The creek and falls are beautiful as well as fun. Kids and adults love to wade under the falls and enjoy the refreshing water. Great Nature Center full of a lot of interesting nature and wildlife exhibits. We did have to go back twice because our first trip to the Center it was over run... More

First of all...this is a review for the INN...not the park. The park is amazing. But the inn needs some work. The lady at check-in was not very friendly. Then we went to our room which definitely showed it's age. But it was large and has GREAT potential. It did not look like the photos on the website. But the... More

I'm a big fan of Indiana State Parks, and this one has a lot to offer. We were only there for the day. I feel like we could have easily spent another day or two without repeating anything. My kids loved Wolf Cave (a big thank you to pp who suggested flashlights!) and the waterfall. It was a hot day... More

This review is for the park only. I have not stayed at the inn, but know people who have had good experience there. The park itself is beautiful and ranks high for me as Indiana state parks go. Great trails, recently updated nature center (now one of the best I've seen), pool, reopened Wolf Cave (bring your flashlight, it's a... More

We had such a small campsite that our awning was only 4 feet from touching the camper next to us. An overzealous old DNR employee insisted that we could not make any noise after 11:00. The guy continued to harass us the entire weekend (thanks for ruining our trip!). I will never go there again. I have been camping for... More
