A nice State Park in Indiana that you should visit. The inn is nice and there are many decent camping spots. The hiking is amazing and very fun to hike in the creek. They also provide riding stables, tennis courts, swimming pool and a game room. A nice small getaway. Recommended!

Great trails through beautiful nature. The creek and falls are beautiful as well as fun. Kids and adults love to wade under the falls and enjoy the refreshing water. Great Nature Center full of a lot of interesting nature and wildlife exhibits. We did have to go back twice because our first trip to the Center it was over run... More

First of all...this is a review for the INN...not the park. The park is amazing. But the inn needs some work. The lady at check-in was not very friendly. Then we went to our room which definitely showed it's age. But it was large and has GREAT potential. It did not look like the photos on the website. But the... More

I'm a big fan of Indiana State Parks, and this one has a lot to offer. We were only there for the day. I feel like we could have easily spent another day or two without repeating anything. My kids loved Wolf Cave (a big thank you to pp who suggested flashlights!) and the waterfall. It was a hot day... More

This review is for the park only. I have not stayed at the inn, but know people who have had good experience there. The park itself is beautiful and ranks high for me as Indiana state parks go. Great trails, recently updated nature center (now one of the best I've seen), pool, reopened Wolf Cave (bring your flashlight, it's a... More

We had such a small campsite that our awning was only 4 feet from touching the camper next to us. An overzealous old DNR employee insisted that we could not make any noise after 11:00. The guy continued to harass us the entire weekend (thanks for ruining our trip!). I will never go there again. I have been camping for... More

One of my favorite places to go. We camp here at least once a year, sometimes twice. Beautiful scenery: gorges, waterfalls, caves, trees, etc. There is a really nice inn where we have also stayed and it is spectacular. There is even a horse barn if you would like a trail ride. The hikes range from easy to extremely rugged.... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at McCormick Creek Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, the desk clerk told us about the surrounding trails and encouraged us take the short walk to the falls as rain was predicted for the next day. We took his advice and were not disappointed. Our room, although basic, had everything... More

The very best state park that I have ever been to. I have been going to and camping at McCormick's Creek State Park since I was 7 years old. I may be a bite one-sided in my feelings since I'm now almost 64. I have stayed at lodge, Canyon Inn, on my honeymoon. I worked at the old saddle barn... More

We always enjoy our stay at the Inn no matter what time of year. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The dinning room is a nice place to eat. Get a table by the bird feeders and watch the wildlife as you dine. Sit in front of the cozy fireplace and rock while you read or take a nap.... More
