A former sanitorium, the Canyon Inn is as modern as one would expect.
The building itself speaks "military/institution" from the front, and the rooms say the same thing "BUT" the grounds are very well kept and clean, as are the common areas

It is located in the middle of the McCormicks Creek state park, which has riding stables, their own pool (larger than the inn's, but shorter hours), volleyball court, and rec. building
The park itself is VERY well maintained, has a waterfall as well as many hiking trails and get together halls throughout.

The rooms, though small, are clean and well maintained, standard TV's, very small bathrooms, bedding was average (but pretty), beds were comfortable
Wireless internet is available throughout the Inn
Check in was painless, efficient and friendly

Dining is available and the buffet is very good, breakfast buffet $8, Dinner $13
Breakfast opens at 8 am, dinner closes at 8 pm
