We had a bug in one bed and the other looked like someone had slept in it. Stayed in January and the heat didn't work very well. Breakfast was not good at all. Looks to as they had done some work lately but still below average.

We booked this hotel last minute at for the price, we were pleasantly surprised. We called to let front desk clerk know we would be checking in real late (around 2:30 AM). When we arrived we were greeted by name (nice first impression). The room was clean and semi-updated. The bed was comfortable and decor resembled that of a more... More

This hotel seems to be half way through a badly needed upgrade. The television, cupboards, coffee maker, counter tops all seemed to have gone through a recent update and are on par with some of the nicer hotels. The staff was very polite and welcoming. The price was rather reasonable and I was expecting much worse for the money. On... More

I reserved my room through Priceline @ the bargain price of $47 per night plus taxes. The gentleman whom checked me in could have been more welcoming. The room was just fine. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub. I have stayed in worse places for more $$. Overall this hotel was a great value and I would return.

We stayed at the Waterford on an "off-football game " (Notre Dame) November weekend so the hotel was not full. Our first floor room's upgrades made it resemble any upscale 4 star property. The flat screen tv, comfy mattress, in-room coffeemaker, microwave oven and mini-refrigerator were perfect. Walls were a bit thin and you could barely hear the tv in... More

I am a heavy business traveler but stayed here with my family while visiting relatives in the area. We brought the dog with us so being able to have it with us in the room was an important consideration. With the relatively inexpensive price and the pet friendly rules I expected the rooms to smell like animals. I was pleasantly... More

I travel a lot for work and have seen all types of hotels. Some places that are off the beaten path can go one of two ways, fantastic or I could have done better. I feel like I could have done better considering the cost of the room. The property definitely needs some much needed upgrades. The parking was probably... More

Our stay was November 21-23, 2014. We came for the ND game. As I read other reviews, I wonder, did they stay at the same place? I've stayed here twice before. The entrance is charming. The front desk check in was quick and informative. Got us booked for the shuttle to the game and we were all set. The room,... More

We we stayed there on a Sunday in mid-September. It used to be a Ramada Inn. I'm not surprised. The current name sounds a lot more 'refined', but inside and out it shows its heritage, and could use some work. As an aside, ... the afternoon we arrived the parking lot was virtually empty, but there were a couple of... More

When we pulled up, I didn't want to get out of the car! Quite surprising inside. Our room was nice....housekeeping needs to step it up! The bed skirt was falling off of a made bed. The coffee maker was so dusty, I couldn't imagine anyone using it. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken. There was not a... More
