I have never stayed at the Knights Inn, but I work for a local law enforcement agency. I know that there have been many unsavory characters who have stayed here or hung around with other people who were staying there. There are far better places to stay.

stayed july 2010. room was clean and well decorated and just charged just under 50 that night including the taxes. could have been a little cheaper considering the exterior was aged. i was there in the off season (not football) so it was cheaper. should be around forty bucks a night or less. does have a pool as i didnt... My husband and I and our 2 young children stayed here on our summer road trip to the Midwest. After driving nearly 900 miles we were looking for a simple, clean room to rest up for another 600 miles of driving the next day. What we got instead was a filthy room...stained box springs and mattresses, filthy bathroom, carpet that... More

"People complain but we don't care" these are the exact words spoken to me by Desiree the day assistant manager. We stayed in a room where the bathroom floor was LITERALLY FALLING IN. The toilet was FALLING THROUGH THE FLOOR. Mold was growing on the wall, there were HOLES IN THE CEILING. I have been on an extended trip across... More

There for a football weekend. As we were leaving the room I asked my friend if we should bring the unopen bottle of grey goose vodka sitting on the dresser to the tail gate, he said no, and with that I closed the door. When we returned it was gone. We told the front desk, they said they would let... More

I didn't know a place could look like this and stay in business. They must survive on payments that they keep after they won't refund your money when you decide to leave. The light bulb didn't work in the bathroom. When we got one from the office and put it in ourselves, the light cover was so dirty, the light... More

Where do I start? The place looks like it has had no maintenance since it was built. We arrived late and had to use the night check in. There was an ice machine and ventilation blower making so much noise that we could barely hear the desk clerk. Everything looked very shabby and rundown. Even though we had misgivings, we... More

This motel is so old and so poorly maintained that it makes a stay there unpleasant. The toilet was wobbly, the tub drain did not work, the TV was old and barely functional' There were many examples of shoddy, crude attempts to repair woodwork, doors, etc, but it only added to the overall dilapidated appearance. The comforters were so stained... More

We booked this room for a football game weekend at Notre Dame University. The room was in horrible condition. There were all sorts of stains every where including the bathroom. So, it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. While I understand rates go up during football weekends, I think the amount we paid was... More

We reserved a hotel room for November 21-22, 2008 at the Knights Inn in South Bend, IN. My credit card was charged the full amount prior to us arriving. ($316.38) When we got there, the room was in terrible condition. There was a draft coming in through the door, as temperatures outside were in the 20's. The floor had leaves... More
