This was the worst hotel experience ever! Peeling lavender paint greets you at you enter your front door. Incidentally, the door doesn't seal, so any rain, wind, etc comes right in. We stayed at the Knights Inn November 2, 2007. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but canceled the second night because the rooms were so bad. Just this month during; we booked several rooms for our family event that was in South Bend. This “motel” was a cheap and well-situated property. We just need a place to put our heads and the employees were than helpful. I would recommend this motel to anyone who wants an inexpensive night in South Bend. more
