Where do I start? The place looks like it has had no maintenance since it was built.
We arrived late and had to use the night check in. There was an ice machine and ventilation blower making so much noise that we could barely hear the desk clerk. Everything looked very shabby and rundown. Even though we had misgivings, we checked in. We had made reservations on line for a room with one queen bed. When we got to the room, we found two double beds. We went back to the desk clerk to request a room with a queen bed. We were informed that none was available. Since our requested room was not available, we asked that a refund be applied to our credit card. The desk clerk refused to refund our money. Now we have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge. We found a lovely motel a block away for the same price we had paid for the Knights Inn dump. The Knight's Inn experience was certainly an unpleasant way to begin a 40th anniversary trip. more
