My wife and I made a cross-country trip in mid-August for a move, and we stopped off for the night at the Sleep Inn in South Bend. We chose the hotel because we were traveling with our rabbit, so we needed a pet-friendly place. I really don't have anything bad to say about the place. The pet fee was reasonable... more

I dont even have word to describe how bad my stay was.... I would recommend quality inn and suites next door that is cheaper and better. We ended up staying at sleep inn and suites, we had a problem with the room, we asked the manager to switch the room and the would not do it.... we asked for a... more

My husband and I were Westward bound travelling cross country from NJ via motorcycle. We secured a room for the evening using the roadside rest stop travelers guides. They have discounts which come in handy. We had a very restful nights sleep on a very comfortable pillow top bed. The service was friendly and accommodating. This place was extremely clean. more

When Contintental finally landed in South Bend 2 1/2 hours late, we opted to stay at the nearest Comfort Inn member for the night. Nice hotel, nice room, nice staff. However, we were surprised to learn that the Quality Inn next door offerred rooms for $20 less! more

This hotel was great for a quick overnight stay while driving from New York to Illinois. The hotel is fairly close to I-80, which provided for quick easy on and off. This hotel is dog friendly. They gave us a room on the 1st floor to allow our dog to get in and out easily. There was a small grassy... more

We truly enjoyed our stay on April 2. I'm sorry I don't know the person's name that was at the desk that afternoon, but he couldn't have been more patient and helpful. I am very finicky when it comes to hotels, but this place was spotless. Don't think twice about staying there. You won't be disappointed. more

No frills, but good. Clean. Good-sized room. Refrigerator. Some variety at breakbast. Near the airport, but we did not hear anything. Limited restaurants nearby. Overall, a pleasant experience. more

This is a really nice hotel! Nicely decorated--seems newly remodeled. They allow pets, which was important since we were moving from the West Coast to the East Coast with our two cats. They charged us a $10 pet fee. It is supposed to be a per pet fee, but when they found out we had cats, they just charged us... more

Stayed here while dropping off daughter at Notre Dame. The property itself is nice. Rooms are clean, comfortable, with full bath. Breakfast is modest, but adequate. Location is 15 minutes from university. But is far removed from any shopping or restaurants. OK for football weekend. Not so good for outfitting dorm rooms. Had great service when making reservation months earlier.... more

If you want a hotel room for $200 or more near Notre Dame, there are high priced hotels available, but few will give you the comfort and cleanliness of the Sleep Inn, at 1/3 the cost! I found the hotel to have such a "new" feel to it, that I had to ask when it was opened. Hearing that it... more
