We, the delightful Mrs. Gam and I, had the great pleasure to stay at this wonderful B&B during our recent visit to South Bend. The house is immaculate and well maintained. It is filled with wonderful Victorian touches but is definitely not a museum. Indeed, it is so homey, I felt more at home than I do at home. There... more

My wife and I stayed at the Innisfree Celtic B&B with my Brother in Law and his wife. We had comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfasts, and most of all a terrific Innkeeper / Owner, Cindy Lewis. She was quick to make small changes that made a big difference to the comfort of her guests. She was delightfully well informed about the... more

My husband and I were in South Bend to attend a concert and were extremely pleased with our accommodations. This B&B is an elegant historic Victorian beauty that has been restored and decorated fantastically. The owner made us feel so welcome! Breakfast was delicious, bountiful and artfully presented. Wonderful coffee! The location was within walking distance of good places to... more

This B&B is the most welcoming and beautiful one we've stayed in, and we prefer staying in B&Bs whenever we travel. The house itself is stunning, well maintained and true to its Victorian roots. We felt very welcomed, as though it were truly our own home. We especially enjoyed the claw-foot tub and original door locks. The breakfast was plentiful... more

We went to Innisfree for Christmas after my father died. Mom just couldn't handle the idea of Christmas at home. We loved the rooms. The whole house was beautiful. My husband and I had one room, my mother another, my son another and my brother had one. It was a pretty sad and stressful time for us but the innkeeper... more

We booked the entire B & B for the weekend of my daughters wedding which was at the Basilica of Notre Dame - and the reception was at Tippecanoe. The propietor was kind and flexible throughout our stay. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable!! Great night's sleep. It's decorated beautifully...One draw back would be for the... more

We booked the entire inn for a family wedding and reunion in South Bend. The proprietor, Cindy Lewis, was wonderfully flexible in adapting to our needs and gave us free run of the inn, including the kitchen for the weekend. Cindy was very welcoming but never obtrusive. We all enjoying chatting with her and learning the history of the inn... more

We just got back from a weekend stay at the lovely Innisfree Bed and Breakfast. Cindy welcomed us with open arms into their (Cindy and Terry's) beautiful home. The house was built in 1892 from what I recall and has only had 3 owners. It surely shows how well kept and loved this home has been and still is. The... more
