We stayed at the North Campground for 3 nights on our way home from Traverse City. The campground was clean with spacious sites. Trees separated the sites which made for a little privacy. Huge open areas to walk your dog. Very close to downtown Shipshewana and the Flea Market. The staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet and peaceful campground. Stop... More

I'm glad we had a log cabin with our own bathroom so I didn't have to walk around the camp ground to find a restroom. It's a bit more expensive, but worth it (and still cheap). Remember the Amish rest on Sunday and you can't go into Shipshewana for breakfast. Everything is closed. So we went to a supermarket on... More

We enjoyed our time at this beautiful campground, which is close to Shipshewana. We were welcomed by friendly staff. Ice cream/Frozen Custard stand is located within the park. Campsites are large and streets are big rig friendly. The cabins located within this park are nested within the tress. Our campsite needed some minor leveling. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no... More

We were stopping through the Shipshewana area on our way to the Wisconsin Dells. We were traveling with another couple. We really enjoyed the cabins. They were very clean and they smelled so good. (cedar log smell) It was perfect for our over night visit. The cabins were nestled in a wooded area and very quiet. We sat on our... More

Stayed here in an RV with a group. The owners and staff are courteous and friendly and made sure all of our needs were met. Sites are shady and comfortable. Make sure to try the frozen custard right on site. Will stay here again.

My husband and I went this past Friday and stayed till Sunday. When arriving we were excited to have a weekend of relaxation just the two of us. Enjoyed the outdoor swing. That was pretty much all we enjoyed. When night time came we were shocked at how horrible the bed was, it was like sleeping on a cement pad.... More

We stayed in one of the log cabins for three nights in September 2013. We went for one of the log cabins that sleeps two and has it's own bedroom. I read some of the tripadvisor reviews before I booked but to be honest some of the comments seemed a little unfair. We found it really comfortable, the heater worked... More

This is the place to stay if you want a laid back get away. They have both camping cabins and lodging cabins. We always stay in the furnished cabins and like to cook out and sit by the community fire pit in the evening. They are well kept and clean, no play area for children, this is more of an... More

We stayed at the Rustic cabins. We stayed 2 nights. Excellent accommodation, great continental breakfast. The cabin was clean and cute. We will stay again. Your 4 minutes into town. Bring your own bedding and everything is wonderful.

A friend and myself had stayed at one of the hotels in Shipshewana last year and wasn't impressed. We decided to try something different on our trip to the flea market. We stayed at the Amish Log Cabins. It was so nice to come back from the hustle and hectic pass of the flea market and auction to sit on... More
