Did not have reservations so my fingers were crossed when we arrived. The huge flea market had packed up for the day so the town was no longer busy. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, the coffee good and the breakfast substantial in a bright and airy room. The negative: 1) The black out blind did not roll... More

We were treated very well, had great breakfast in the morning, nice quiet room and it was a very clean facility! All in all a nice place. Loved the touches of Amish quilts, knick knacks and nice wide hallways.

We have had family Christmas twice at this hotel in the past because of what it offers. After recovering from a stroke, my husband suggested we go back, just the two of us to Farmstead Inn. We booked and received confirmation before coming. We were not informed that the hot tub spa area that it is famous for having would... More

I have been staying at this hotel since it first opened and have always been very happy. A group of us came last month during flea market. We had all our stuff and when we checked in weren't given very good directions. We had to go up stairs, down stairs and generally got lost. Wasn't told we were in the... More

We've stayed here at least once a summer for the past 4 years. The rooms are clean and seem to be larger than most hotel rooms we've stayed at. Very spacious and comfortable. We have always enjoyed the free breakfast which has the waffle maker, sausage gravy and biscuits, as well as fruit. Located directly across from the Shipshewana Flea... More

I will qualify this by saying we stayed in the west wing which i believe is the most recently constructed of this large and sprawling hotel. Very simple but nice high quality furnishings, comfortable mattress. Everything was spotless and appeared almost brand new. Loved the roominess, even in a double queen room (king was unavailable). Breakfast line on flea market... More

We had a great stay at the Farmstead Inn this weekend. From the friendly ladies at check-in to the breakfast our last morning things were great. Unfortunately, I cannot include the lady at the desk at check-out, she seemed a bit grumpy. The things that we appreciated the most is the kiddie pool, which is right beside the main pool... More

We have been coming to Shipshewana for many years and we always stay here. The hotel is large and in pretty good condition although it is starting to show some wear in some places. We checked in today after a day of shopping and I try logging on to the free wi-fi. No signal. So I called the front desk... More

This hotel, without a doubt, was the best we have stayed in for years. The staff were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating. From the outside the hotel is bright and cheerful with walkways for strolling and porches with seats. The rooms had very nice, plush carpeting, and were very well appointed with comfortable beds. The bathroom was large, bright and... More

We have stayed here many times before and they never disappoint. This is the cleanest motel I have ever stayed. I am in the cleaning business so always checking small things. Even the back stairways are extremely clean. They have a great breakfast. A PLAYGROUND FOR KIDS, HALF COURT BASKETBALL COURT AND PING PONG TABLES. Lots of room to sit... More
