This is a nice hotel for the most part. I'm not sure if it was worth $120.00 a night. The good stuff is the rooms are big and very clean. The grounds are very nice and the pool is nice. The breakfast area is huge. The stuff that wasn't so great was the front desk staff. They were nice in... More

My girlfriend & I (both in our 50's) stayed 1 night as it is conveniently located across the street from the flea market.Upon arrive the desk clerk told us our room number & said "I think it is that way" so he was unclear as to where our room was even located so off on the mystery hunt we went.... The Farmstead Inn is a nice clean hotel. The rooms are a nice size but the showers are set for very low pressure. It's hard to rinse off, the sink faucets also run slow. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of foods. But the set up was a little scattered it was... More

Thank you for giving us a heads up on some maintenance issues. Our staff will be looking into that issue right away. Over the years our breakfast has grown to what we offer today. We are always trying to provide good options for our guest. My apologies for the set up seeming scattered. Any suggestions for how to improve would... More

This was a really nice, clean & roomy place to stay. Breakfast was fair but had a full breakfast with a nice big area to eat. We were going to the flea market & it was conveniently located across the stree but far enough off the road that there was no road noise. Bed was comfortable & bathroom was very... More

Stayed here overnight for a much needed get-a-way. Was expecting comfort and a great Amish style breakfast in terms of "comfort food". Very plainly decorated and just average in comfort. More like a Super 8 or Ramada Inn. We had to go "hiking" to find the dining area down a maze of hallways. I was pretty disappointed with breakfast. We... More

I've stayed here quite a few times because of the location but the rooms are nothing special...they are clean which is very important but the beds are not very comfortable and you can hear people in the hallway very easily. Staff is wonderful, pool area is fun.

I like to come to Shipshewana a least once a year. We usually stay at the Blue Gate, but this year we couldn't get in so we went to the Farmstead instead. We weren't to sure about staying there, but we really enjoyed our stay. The people were really friendly and the rooms are large and clean. It is near... More

We stayed one night here and it was a nice clean place to stay. We were in the west wing. Although seemed very new, the walls were paper thin. We could hear people talking in the hallways and it sounded like they were right in our rooms. The housekeeping staff were the nicest around. Very nice and helpful.... The continental... More

Farmstead was a great choice for our family of four. Stayed two nights, great $ value considering bf was included each am and there is a nice pool area to take advantage of. My kids (3,6) loved our first stay in Shipshewana so it's likely we will visit again!
