I like to come to Shipshewana a least once a year. We usually stay at the Blue Gate, but this year we couldn't get in so we went to the Farmstead instead. We weren't to sure about staying there, but we really enjoyed our stay. The people were really friendly and the rooms are large and clean. It is near... More

We stayed one night here and it was a nice clean place to stay. We were in the west wing. Although seemed very new, the walls were paper thin. We could hear people talking in the hallways and it sounded like they were right in our rooms. The housekeeping staff were the nicest around. Very nice and helpful.... The continental... More

Farmstead was a great choice for our family of four. Stayed two nights, great $ value considering bf was included each am and there is a nice pool area to take advantage of. My kids (3,6) loved our first stay in Shipshewana so it's likely we will visit again!

Very nice, clean hotel. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub which my granddaughter just loved, also a basketball court for her to shoot hoops. The only thing I think you need to be aware of is that the rooms do not have a fridge nor a coffee pot. Other than that I really liked this down home feel... More

Very clean and friendly, morning buffet was good. We were there on a Tue. night for the barn auction on Wed., thought we'd have a frig. & micro but didn't, also no coffee pot for early am. Didn't want to go down in my jammies to get it, would rather have a coffee maker in the room. Also no alcohol,... More

We spent 2 nights here recently. Check-in was a bit slow, and they informed us it was non smoking and no alcohol was allowed on the premises. We knew that and made our way to the room. The room was very basic, 1 tiny bottle of shampoo and 2 small bars of soap. Nothing else, no coffee maker either but... More

Great location and the room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Good pool area ping pong and basketball, go figure. Walk to town auction and flea market. Nice museum is just next door. Breakfast is the usual biscuits and gravy cold cereals, waffles and fruit cocktail.

We stayed at the Farmstead for one night during spring break. They had a special running with a really good rate for one night. The hotel is clean and spacious. The pool & hot tub are fine (although the hot tub was pretty hot, so watch the kids in there). They also have indoor basketball as well as indoor ping... More
