During a five day trip to Indiana, the first two nights were spent at the Schereville Holiday Inn where the staff was very nice and accomodations were excellent. The third and fourth night was spent at another Holiday Inn in a nearby county approx one hour away. We had made reservations for the last night at Schereville Holiday Inn prior to our return to Arizona. During the second stay, we were assigned a wheelchair room. Upon discovering this the front desk was called and informed of our dissatisfaction--needing to squat to take a shower, no bathroom vanity, just rails--all toiletries, cosmetics had to be placed in the sink eliminating the use of the sink, the door could not be propped open to allow steam to escape, etc. We were told it was our word against the clerk who took the reservation because wheelchair was written in the reservation and they would need to investigate.
