It was our Christmas party for my salon and we rented whole jail. I love new places and new adventures and this place is all of that. owner has done a great job at keeping it a jail but a cosy one! Want to go back!

I mean, its a JAIL! How fun is that. Sure, it was cold in the winter and our toilet was in the room but... ITS A JAIL! If you want a fancy B&B, try the Bubble Gum Inn (very nice). If you want weird and wackey, this is the place for you!

Did a wine tasting downstairs in the Drunk Tank. Wine was great and entertainment/hospitality of both manager Trina and owner Debra was fantastic. We had a great time!! They are both very fun and great hosts. We spent the night here in the Dillinger Cell. The building is awesome and everything is very clean. We were able to take a... More

Disorganized owner and very poor customer service--in fact no service. No coffee or cream available for guests. No one answered phone or door bell in the evenings during the 2 days we were there. Breakfast "coupon" only covered $5 at the Jailhouse café next door. For a "bed and breakfast" this was the worst run place I have ever stayed... More

Was was very disappointed. Totally unsafe. 10 people - strangers share one bathroom, no door or lock. Nor fire exit or sprinklers, only one way out of a maze. The place is not clean. It is a B & B and we were promised coffee. There was none. The owner was never even seen until the afternoon. We had to... More

The Old Jail Inn and the owner Debra are both truly one of a kind. You will never meet a more friendly or helpful owner. She will help you with everything from where to dine to places to see. The cells are neat and clean and truly an experience of a lifetime. It would be a great trip for a... More

The Old Jail Inn is one of the coolest places to visit in all of Parke Co. Let's forget for a moment that it's located right on the historical downtown square close to shopping and dinning, let's forget for a moment that it's a historical land mark, let's forget that it is owned and operated by Debra Olson who is... Totally fun and different experience. Love the location which is in the center of town. Best breakfast sandwich ever! We stayed in the Harley room. 6'2" man could not sleep in this bed it was too short and the worst part was the annoying blue overhead light shining through the cell bars. Otherwise it was a great experience and glad... More

My wife and I stayed here while we explored nearby Turkey Run state park. Debbie the owner and Trina the manager were both very nice and wonderful hosts. The jail / inn is clean and comfortable. The town of Rockville is quaint and has much to offer in the area. This place is not by any means a fancy resort... More

Very Unique & Interesting! We camped at 'Peaceful Waters Campground' on 47 and visited the town of Rockville to eat and explore, Cathy @ PWC recommended stopping in Old Jail Inn for a Tour, we did and LOVED the building!! Deb (the owner) lives upstairs & cares for EVERY aspect of the experience!! Main floor cell rooms are small, shared... More
