The Boat is small, in relation to other casinos arounf it, however the people and how they take care of you more than make up for the smaller size. They do have a nice selection of slots and keep many current ones, I just wish some they had more than 1 of them, but I understand the economics in that... More

We were on a road trip camping and seeing the area. We could have camped there for supposedly $20 a night but were offered a hotel room for USD 43.68.We decided to opt for the comfy bed. Upon check in the price was $59.00 per night +++ including a $50 refundable deposit. We should just kept going!! At check out... More

If you stay, stay in the brand new North Star Tower. It is upscale, and during the winter, mostly deserted. My wife and I had the whole place to ourselves one year. As for the casino...tight slots, tight video blackjack, decent actual blackjack, good poker, crappy buffet, excellent food court with Skyline, Montgomery Inn, and LaRosas. Shuttle service on time... The hotel was new and contemporary. It offered plenty of room for a family of 4. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes to the casino and hotel pool area. The pool and hot tub were great. The casino was lots of fun too. There arent lots of choices of restaurants in the area besides at the casino. I dont recommend... More

There are two hotels - the main hotel is attached to the riverboat casino. We were told that it is a smoking hotel and the rooms are more expensive than the detached hotel. We stayed in the detached, non-smoking hotel so this review is for that one. There is a shuttle that runs continuously all day between the hotel and... More

The rooms were really comfortable and clean. Beds were great, but I would not spend any time there other than in my room. When we first got there, it was about 8:35 on a Tuesday night. There was nowhere to eat. ..at a casino hotel!! The buffet had closed at 8:30. Is that weird or is it just me?! Well... More

The staff is friendly and lots of gaming to choose from. There are several food options but not after 10pm during the week. There is not much around so be prepared for late night. The rooms are very clean and kept pretty modern especially at The Lodge. Always fun to make a getaway to.

Just returned from a long weekend at Rising Star Resort. We were there to celebrate a birthday- and we all had comped rooms from previous play The room was a typical hotel room - it was clean and the bed was comfy. The bathroom felt a bit small but there was plenty of counter space. The staff were friendly and... More

My Husband and I went there for the first time on May 17 and 18 2015. It was very charming and rustic . The rooms was nice , and the hotel staff was pleasant. It had a very nice buffet with really good waitress's and good food .The slot's were very tight . It has the entire first floor for... More

I really enjoy the nice quiet rooms, the friendly employees, the clean atmosphere, the plants in every nook and cranny, inside and out. Happy people. You seem appreciated. Fun on the boat. Nice walk into town by the river. Great place for fun and relaxing. Reading a book by the river. Restaurant overlooking the river with large windows. Breakfast is... More
