If you are in the Richmond area don't miss the Phillip W. Smith and Martha E Parry B&Bs. Call Jill to book your room so you will not be disappointed. The two homes have a variety of rooms with period charm and modern comforts. If you are a 42" flat screen HDTV buff take a pass because the TVs are... More

My husband and I decided to run away for the weekend and found ourselves in Richmond, IN so we decided to stay at the Philip W. Smith B&B. It was wonderful. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The bedroom was comfortable and breakfast was wonderful!

Jill & Kris are both very nice. Our room was #4. A nice full size comfortable bed smashed into a tiny cramped corner room, along with a tiny cramped bathroom and a tiny outdated TV. My husband and I literally had to turn sideways and scoot by each other to even move past any spot in the room. He is... More

Guest room 4 at the Smith house is described on our website, www.pwsmithbnb.com, as our smallest room, most suited for an occupancy of 1 adult. In this particular circumstance, the guests did not book their room, but it was booked by a family member. Therefore, we did not have the opportunity to discuss their needs prior to check in. We... Spent 3 nights in the beginning of November while exploring Antique Alley and had an amazing stay at the Martha E Parry property! Rooms were spacious and furnished very nicely, as was the entire house. You can tell the love and care that was taken while finishing this beautiful old home! The hosts Kris and Jill were wonderful and helpful... More

I had a day staying in Richmond Indiana, and called the Martha Parry house. Jill said she had a room at last moment!! What a stunning old house. The stained glass on the second floor landing was spectacular. I had to leave early the next morning and Kris prepared a breakfast for me the night before and brought it over... More

We did a girls weekend getaway to go biking but unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us. We were warmly received by Kris and after getting settled into our beautiful quaint rooms we headed to the parlor for cocktail hour. It was so great hearing the history of the home, how Jill & Kris purchased this property, the Smith... More

My friend and I decided to have a girl's night in the area and stay at our first B & B. We didn't know what to expect and this went way above our expectations! Kris and Jill went out of their way to make us feel comfy and welcome. We stayed in the Martha Perry house and loved it! Everything... More

Stayed in the Parry House which was very comfortable and host Kris took great care of my wife and me and our 15-year-old daughters. The stay really took us back to a wonderful era! Easy access to all of Richmond, including Earlham College. Would highly recommend as an alternative to cookie-cutter hotels with no personalized service.

My mom and I were travelling through the area and planned to stay at some B&Bs. We chose the Martha Parry House because of the beautiful stained glass we saw on the website. We arrived and met Jill one of the proprietors. She was so welcoming and friendly that we were at ease right away. She even upgraded us to... More
