After driving for 13 hours, we finally came upon this Hampton Inn and stopped. I had hoped for a suite that had a front room with sleep sofa separate from the bedroom to accomodate our family of 5..two of them teen boys. As we frequently visit Richmond, we usually stay at the Hampton. Well, they have built a new one (the old one is now a Comfort Inn). The new one is even nicer. Bigger breakfast room. Business in Richmond brought us here, it was nothing fancy but we found it quite adequate, clean, and safe. You're not going to get the Four Seasons in Richmond, but this place does a good job and is a fair representative of the Hampton chain. more
