I stayed at the Hampton Inn - Portage to attend a wedding at the Portage Lakefront and a reception at Woodland Park. The hotel was located fairly close to both venues. Check-in was efficient. My room was ready at check-in time. The hotel is very clean in both public areas and the rooms. The bathroom was very spacious. This appears... more

We stayed here for the last two nights of our vacation from the minute that we walked into the hotel we felt welcome. Our room overlooked the back 'lawn' area and was quite, clean and spacious. The pool and gym were really nice and the breakfast offered a good choice. I would stay here again without any hesitation. more

If you are n the Portage Indiana area, stay here! The hotel is small but that just makes it a cozy place to visit. The staff is helpful and very friendly. Free breakfast is always a plus and the staff does a great job keeping food available and hot. They were able to help with planning a trip into Chicago... more

Room was clean and staff were excellent. Was a little disappointed that they did not have pillowtop beds and micro and fridge in room as most Hampton's do. Would definately stay again. A lot of choices for dining in the area. more

My husband and I booked this hotel Memorial Day weekend for a quick trip away from Indianapolis. We had never traveled to the area but were excited to explore and happy we could stay for free as this is a point stretcher hotel for hilton hhonors points (7,500 points). Upon arrival, the hotel was inviting and very clean. The staff... more

We visited this hotel for a trip to the Indiana Dunes and Warren Dunes. The hotel was very nice and clean. It looked like it had recently been renovated. Indiana Dunes is a short drive away, and it is only a half an hour to the Warren Dunes in Sawyer, MI. The continental breakfast was very nice. We couldn't have... more

As with every other Hampton Inn we have stayed in, this one is clean, up to date, offers a decent complementary breakfast and has a friendly staff. The beds are very cozy and comfy. It is a half a block from the highway and about 8-10 minutes from the Indiana Dunes Visitor's Center. more

Very happy and friendly staff. Clean hotel including the pool. Great quality and selection for the complementary breakfast. We were staying overnight to split up a long trip. The clean pool tired out the kids so they slept thru the night and the complementary breakfast had a great variety so all the kids ate something they liked, making it easy... more

We spent a week here in October. This is a well run property, with great customer service. My wife and I wanted a thicker pillow. The GM herself, looked in storage, and brought us two new pillows that were just right. The breakfast is good enough to keep you happy until lunch. This hotel has brand new AC units that... more

I stayed in this Hampton Inn for a visit to Chicago. It's only about 45 minutes drive to Chicago which isn't bad. The hotel has free hot breakfasts, nice size heated indoor pool (bigger and nicer than other "inn" I've stayed in), free wireless internet. The bed is very comfortable with very comfortable pillows and down comforter. One only downside... more
