We have camped at several state park campgrounds and this one has some of the largest sites we have seen. Great campground for relaxing. There are beautiful trails to enjoy or just hang out at the campground and relax. Very quiet especially on non-holiday weekends or through the week. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star... More

Stayed here a couple of nights recently in cabin 10. These are rustic cabins...but they are decent. You do need to bring your own linens, towels, pillows, blankets. soap, cleaning supplies, utensils, silverware, glasses...etc. So it is kind of a pain to bring all of that. You need to clean the cabin before departure....basically sweeping, mopping, etc. But I cleaned... More

We camped weekend of June 13-16. We tent camped which was a first for us. The campground was wonderfully maintained ( mown & zero garbage). Mature shade trees, paved roads, plenty of bathrooms & showers. The nature center is great for the kids & playground areas are clean. LOVE this campground!

We have camped at literally thousands of parks, as we’ve been traveling full-time for 13 years. This is one of the best. Part of it was the time of year we visited, and part of it was what we put into our visit. We’re here in early April. The park was quiet and we had no close neighbors. We check... More

We stayed in one of the cabins with a screened in back porch. The master bedroom had a double bed, the other bedroom had twin bunks, which weren't quite what I expected but we made do. There as a decent fold out couch in the living room. A lovely setting in the fall. It's only a few minutes from the... More

Stayed in one of the family cabins which were very nice and clean. Enjoyed fishing in the little pond directly behind our cabin. Would definitely stay again - and was affordable. Lots of wild life around such as turtles deer snakes squirrels and birds. Nature Center was pretty cool too.

They have a few hiking trails and mountain biking, as well as trails for regular bicycles and horses. The campsites are a bit small in some places but not all, so best check it out beforehand. When we stayed, there were tons of RVs and we were one of only four tents. The volunteers seem to have the best spots... More

Just got back from a visit with my daughter at the New Harmonie State Park. I found that the facilities were very, very clean. They use this facility for the bathroom use and shower. I found that the black top roads came in handy for my granddaughter to ride her bike. Lots of room for each parking site. The park... More

We just returned from New Harmony, Indiana State Park. We had a family reunion there and we rented cabins. We were fortunate to get cabins all together and on a cul-de-sac. There were 18 children all under the age of 10 and did they have a ball. The cabins are all central air and were fantastic. Clean and very comfortable.... More
