My stay at the Allison House counts as one of the best stays I've had. It excelled in providing a friendly, relaxed setting, perfectly complimenting the historic atmosphere of Brown County. High points include the following:

- The rooms are beautiful. Each room is fitted with a bird painting from famous local artist Bill Zimmerman. The rooms have a relaxed, rustic feel and are very comfortable to spend time in. The beds are especially comfortable, fitted with Pure Beech sheets, which are soft and silky enough to convince me that I need these myself.

- Friendly atmosphere. Innkeepers Tim and Megan were very friendly and made me feel quite at home. They provided special care and personal attention to make our stay as comfortable as possible. However, it was their friendly, affable nature that really stands out.
