Eight girlfriends spent 3 nights at the Allison Inn in June and found it to be a very nice and convenient place to stay. You are literally just steps from the shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and available. Be sure to follow September's recommendations for meals as she was spot on . Breakfast was delicious. We used... more

From check in to check out everything was perfect. Will definitely stay there again. Tim and his family were delightful. The house was comfortable and roomy. The extra touches like cookies, lemonaid & the fire pit were all appreciated. more

Pulled into Nashville on a Friday evening for a little weekend getaway in October. The innkeeper and his wife, a friendly and "hip" young couple, were very accommodating, giving recommendations for nearby restaurants (Lennie's in Bloomington is a must-try!) and even building a nice little fire in the pit out back, where we sat and enjoyed the cool weather and... more

This was my second time staying at the Allison House Inn. It is wonderful, this trip was a girls weekend and the weather was perfect. The fresh lemonade waiting for us the afternoon we were shopping just hit the spot. What a nice touch. Tim and his family were so gracious and the breakfasts were delicious, well prepared and the... more

I stayed at the Allison House recently and won't be returning. The exterior is a worn out, dirty yellow, that is in need of face lift. The inside is worse. Worn out furniture, dated fixtures, and a saggy bed. The rooms are small and unappealing. The breakfast was alright, but the Artist Inn down the street was much better. Shopping... more

My wife and I just enjoyed a last minute Valentine’s Day retreat to this quaint bed & breakfast. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations, from the fresh homemade cookies to the helpful hospitality of the owners. While the twin beds were a little Ozzie and Harriet for a romantic night (it was a last minute reservation), they were like... more

The Allison Inn was the perfect place for a girlfriend getaway. The owners were absolutly delightful with wonderful suggestions for dining and fun. We were truly spoiled with a wonderful breakfast and sweet treats throughout the day! The rooms were cozy and perfectly clean. This is the perfect place to relax after a long day of shopping and eating in... more

We spent two nights at Allison House and we would go back in a flash. Not only is it in one of the prime spots in downtown Nashville, but it's an oasis and a haven to return to after a busy day of shopping and touring the area. Innkeeper Tim O'Bryan and his in-laws are friendly, helpful, and pleasant -... more

The Allison House was not the first B&B we’ve stayed in however it was definitely the most enjoyable. And we would recommend it to anyone visiting Nashville The location in town cannot be beat, it’s just across the street from the shops, once you arrive you never have to get back in your car (big plus after a long drive)!!!... more
