The horse trail ride was the best trail we had ever been on.You had to actually guide your horse instead of just watching it follow the horse in front of you.The staff was super friendly. The property was so pretty. We enjoyed at times just sitting outside doing nothing.

It was a fun weekend in Nashville we experienced the Taste of Brown County. Saw the Odd Couple at The Play house and stayed at the Rawhide Ranch. Very tranquil farm like setting with horses, goats, etc. No tv. Yea. But dId have WiFi. Breakfast was available for $9. Ziplining with the girls was short but fun. Overall enjoyable.

We visited Holler Hoppin' ziplines, now owned by the Rawhide Ranch. Even though it was bit rainy and one of the ziplines was out for maintenance, we had a super time. After we made our reservations, we got a call about the non-functioning line and we were given the option of cancelling or going on a modified tour at a... More

Sharon S., Thank you for the lengthy review and great review. I can scream from the top of my lungs about our great staff, zip lines and facility but when it comes from an actual customer, it is priceless. Our ranch guests spreading the word is what we have relied upon over the years. The small time you took to... More

The camp site was great, had two tipi's that allowed our boys to sleep in. Because of rain and clutter of you boys and their camping gear, we could not do a fire in the tipi. Overall was a great experience and our boys really want to go back when no rain in the forecast. Maybe do some more activities... More

ScoutTroop, I really enjoy seeing scouts utilize the tipis and even better when the leaders leave positive feedback. You should definitely return when there is no rain in the radar so that you could get the entire experience with a fire in the tipi. There is something majestic about hanging out in a tipi with a campfire. I hope that... More

Use your google map/s or you will end up at a someone's house. Although he was very nice and understanding. This is a great experience for a family and or get away. Also if your a fan of the west. The bed is so comfortable and they offer zip lines, horse back riding, Geo hunting and a home cook breakfast.

Shawn P, You are exactly right. Brown County is not a great place to use a gps or anything other than google maps though google maps can lead you astray from time to time. If you look at the google maps location on our website and print them off, you shouldn't have any problem. Remember, use your common sense and... More

Rawhide Ranch is a fantastic getaway with plenty to do on the property (horseback riding, campfires, zip lining, hiking, horseshoes, basketball, etc) and is within a short drive to many great places (Brown County SP, Nashville, Bean Blossom, Columbus, Bloomington, etc.).

Joan R Thanks for the few minutes it took to write your review. It is only through our customers written and spoken referrals that we have grown over the last 15 years. We rely heavily on providing a great experience to our guests and then those guests telling everyone they know about the ranch. I hope you will continue to... More

We loved all the animals around. We had horses to watch, a free range chicken, and the dog that lives on site came to visit. We enjoyed sitting in the rockers on the porch reading and feeling the breeze. Lovely place to stay. I would definitely come back and I have already recommended to others.

Teresa R, There are many times I wish I could just sit on the rocker and enjoy the breeze which we seem to always have on the ranch. I remember years ago that we could sit on the porch and enjoy an ice tea. Now, it seems like we never have the time. We are always busy taking care of... More

This was a perfect place for us . we wanted to forget our jobs for awhile and it worked. We did it all while we were there. Horse back riding and holier hopping. You couldn't ask for a more peaceful place to go. Staff is wonderful. The only thing is if you want a shirt saying you were there. better... More

Karen, I am glad to hear that we were able to help you forget about your jobs for a while. The ranch is meant to be a retreat, a retreat from what ever is affecting you. We joke on the ranch that it is like Vegas, what happens on the ranch stays on the ranch. Sunday's are difficult on the... More

The Rawhide Ranch is a great place for families to gather. Many amenities on site, close to the downtown area, and wonderful horseback riding. Be sure to bring your own games, snacks, and drinks because the closest store is a bit far for a quick run. It can also be a bit noisy, so you might bring a fan/noise maker,... More

SEPTraveler, Thank you for taking the time to post your review of the ranch. We happen to agree that we have wonderful horseback riding with many great amenities. We are conveniently located only 3 miles from Nashville but you are correct, if you are looking for a traditional box store, Columbus is your only option. That can be about a... More

Rawhide Ranch was a great getaway from the craziness of life!! We enjoyed slowing down to reconnect as a family! The staff made us feel right at home and made my 10 year old daughter one happy little girl by going above and beyond to make her dreams come true!! She is a horse lover and they were amazing!!

Michelle E, One of the reasons we keep going on the ranch is the enjoyment we bring to families that reconnect. The modern world is just too active and providing a place that allows families to slow down and really appreciate one another warms our hearts. Then you add on the chance to make a little girl happy, even better.... More
