Room old and furniture dirty. Bathroom dirty with hair all over floor. Glass Sliding Door filthy. Carpet dirty and old. Old coffee grounds and filter left in coffee pot. Free wi-fi but did not work and required password they did not have. Management was no help in addressing concerns. Too expensive for condition of room.

When we arrived there was what appeared to be feces stuck to the side of the toilet. There were hairs on the floor and in the tub (they were NOT from us as we had just arrived). There was not a fitted sheet on the queen side bed so we spent the night either straightening the flat sheet or lying... More

The Inn is very outdated and in desperate need of remodeling, the bathrooms, carpets, tv, and dressers are very old. Given what they have to work with the staff does well to keep the units clean. The breakfast buffet had limited choices. The lounge at night was fun. The price was high for what you were paying for.

I'd echo the review "Girls Getaway" after our stay in November, 2014. If you can' find some of the coupons for "stay one night, get next night free", it is quite a bargain. It is a very clean inn . Mattress pads attached to mattress would perhaps reduce being swallowed by the sheets as you turned over. The pool is... More

My wife and I and another couple reserved rooms with the Sweetheart Package for the night of October 28. We arrived in Nashville around 1 p.m. and just stopped by the Inn to see what time our rooms would be ready, expecting it to be around 3 p.m. To our delight both rooms were ready and we were able to... We stayed for a girls getaway for one night (Thursday, October 2014) at the Brown County Inn in Nashville, Indiana. I ready a lot of less than positive reviews but the price was right ($99) and it was at the end of the shopping venue street, which made for a great location. One room, two queen size beds on the... The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and the Inn was clean. The location is very convenient and close to town. It is very rustic and in need of updating...the television, bedding and wallpaper border were quite old. We could have used more outlets in our room and the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. Also, the... More

My daughter and I came to Brown County for a break from school. The inn is old and dated, but very clean and everyone very friendly. We were disappointed that the indoor pool is not heated - at least it didn't seem to be. We had a nice time. Very convenient to hiking, shopping, and horseback riding. The wifi was... More

The staff were all friendly. They paid special attention to my 5 year old grandson. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeders outside the dining room. The hotel could use updating. We played shuffleboard and putt-putt - the putt-putt course is in really rough condition but my grandson loved it and we played multiple times a day. The pool... More

Had a church women's retreat. The decor is dated but the rooms were clean. The staff (waitresses, front desk and the events coordinator) all went out of their way to make sure that we had what we needed. They were extremely friendly.
