For several years I have used Nashville and the Brown County Inn as the center for a family reunion. The Inn and its amenities continues to become more run down. While the staff continue to be helpful to visitors the old worn out room furnishings, rain gutters running over, children's toys (tether ball, put-put, etc. inoperable), weedy and unkempt landscape... Our family had plans fall through at the last minute and we had to find a place that had 2 rooms. We decided on the Brown County Inn because of the activities advertised on site (mini-golf, tennis, basketball, shuffle board, etc.). From the reviews I was prepared for the rooms to be in need of updating but clean, and they... More

We enjoyed a family reunion with 70 people at the Brown County Inn. During the planning process I was given great support and guidance. During the event itself I was really able to enjoy myself because the staff took care of everything. The set up of the room and the food were exactly as we had planned on the event... More

I made a mistake reserving this room. I thought this was the inn located at the state park, but it turned out it was not. It is very old and out dated. Our room smelled moldy and dusty. The bedding had holes in it. I would make sure you wear flip flops walking on the floor or in the tub.... More

It is a dated facility but we found it to be very clean and in good repair. We reserved a block of rooms for friends and their families and everything went very smoothly with the reservations. It was great to have a block of rooms together instead of being scattered all over the hotel as often happens. We picked this... More

Our daughter was married at the Brown County Inn, June 2014. Perfect. I can not say enough about the staff there - helpful, friendly, professional. The setting down by the creek was beautiful and Town Hall couldn't have been better. The food was delicious - I have to recommend the ham! The rehearsal dinner was there the evening before the... We have stayed at the Brown County Inn many times and will be going back soon. The staff, lead by manager Kris, is friendly and helpful. We had a mix up with our rooms (we needed a handicapped room) and Kris got us new rooms that were ajoining AND one of the handicapped before my husband had a chance to... More

We rode to Nashville on our bike and stayed here. The room was clean, comfy bed, and excellent staff. We had a "do not disturb" sign on our door but housekeeping went out of their way to find out what room the bikers were in and left towels outside our room with a friendly note saying it was to wipe... Fantastic staff ....restaurant buffet was good and hot.....rooms were in need of some renovations but overall it was at least clean. Within walking distance of the shopping. If you are looking for a motel without all the bells and whistles...good value for the price.
