The hotel is very run down and the decorations are very outdated, but very clean and very close to all the shops and restaurants in Nashville Indiana. They offer free Wifi but it must not be strong enough because it wouldn't let you refresh or download any pages. There is a walking trail that will take you safely into town,... More

I first came here in the early 80s and was surprised to find that it still isn't too bad. Certainly older. Try not to notice the wood paneling in the rooms. The place is known for its food, including the famous Nashville House fried biscuits and apple butter. But if you stay, it's a great location to go half a... More

Great Location near all the Shops. This is an older building but no need to worry! This Inn has lots to do from swimming, basketball, live music at the bar, Putt-Putt and an Arcade... Ideal for a weekend get away. My favorite was the breakfast buffet. They even make homemade apple butter to die for! A Must Stay

Pros: Staff very friendly, nice courtyard, reasonably priced and you can walk from the Inn to all the shops in town if you are here for the shopping. They had the best tasting bacon on their breakfast buffet. Cons: very hard beds - to the point I had trouble getting up in the morning my back hurt so bad from... More

My family and I stayed in one of the family cabins for a weekend, February 6-8, 2015. I was disappointed. The rest of the family said they had fun, but I get a hint of disappointment. My 'kids' are older teenage girls. If you have kids under the age of 8, the water park is great. Over the age of... More

We stayed at the Brown County Inn over New Years this year. The package deal was, hotel room, dinner buffet, tickets to the New Years eve party and buffet breakfast. We thought it would be a convenient quant and low key evening in which we wouldn't have to drive anywhere. The rooms are very dated but clean. We were disappointed... More

This was our 13th time there (we go every Christmas). We missed last year due to weather. This will be and was our LAST time there. Place is going downhill fast. Was given the breakfast and dinner vouchers except that the breakfast did not exist. The restaurant was closed for dine in service. When I inquired about a $10 refund... More

Inn dates to prior to Mid-20th Century (I believe 1920s), with some updates, but it is what it is...a state park inn. The Inn itself predates WPA construction (extensive) in multiple Indiana parks, has been added to multiple times. Features an indoor mini-water park for kids. If a significant portion of your stay is the facility, go elsewhere. But if... More

Wife said, "I'm not getting naked on this bed." Anniversary trip and the wife found pubic hairs on the bed and floor right away when we got to our room. It had a terrible chemical odor and bad musty museum smell also. We left right away and went to the Comfort Inn down the road, very nice hotel and the... More

very old - and they had some kind of fragrance that is over powering - sheets came off bed while we slept - very uncomfortable- the only good thing is we were on the first floor and was able to park in front of our room and bring our stuff through the patio door - we were told that breakfast...
