The staff were all friendly. They paid special attention to my 5 year old grandson. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeders outside the dining room. The hotel could use updating. We played shuffleboard and putt-putt - the putt-putt course is in really rough condition but my grandson loved it and we played multiple times a day. The pool... More

Had a church women's retreat. The decor is dated but the rooms were clean. The staff (waitresses, front desk and the events coordinator) all went out of their way to make sure that we had what we needed. They were extremely friendly.

We stayed in room 140 on 09/05 thru 09/07/14 and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were askew with globs of dirt on the edges up in the ceiling. There were bugs crawling in the bathroom. The patio door got stuck trying to open, so it was not usable to sit outside. Wallpaper was coming loose in a corner of... More

My husband and I decided on a last minute overnight trip to Nashville and wanted a place close to downtown. I had read reviews about the place being out dated but clean and figured that was no biggie. Clean is all we need. The hotel itself is older but being in Nashville I figured that was part of the charm.... More

For several years I have used Nashville and the Brown County Inn as the center for a family reunion. The Inn and its amenities continues to become more run down. While the staff continue to be helpful to visitors the old worn out room furnishings, rain gutters running over, children's toys (tether ball, put-put, etc. inoperable), weedy and unkempt landscape... Our family had plans fall through at the last minute and we had to find a place that had 2 rooms. We decided on the Brown County Inn because of the activities advertised on site (mini-golf, tennis, basketball, shuffle board, etc.). From the reviews I was prepared for the rooms to be in need of updating but clean, and they... More

We enjoyed a family reunion with 70 people at the Brown County Inn. During the planning process I was given great support and guidance. During the event itself I was really able to enjoy myself because the staff took care of everything. The set up of the room and the food were exactly as we had planned on the event... More

I made a mistake reserving this room. I thought this was the inn located at the state park, but it turned out it was not. It is very old and out dated. Our room smelled moldy and dusty. The bedding had holes in it. I would make sure you wear flip flops walking on the floor or in the tub.... More

It is a dated facility but we found it to be very clean and in good repair. We reserved a block of rooms for friends and their families and everything went very smoothly with the reservations. It was great to have a block of rooms together instead of being scattered all over the hotel as often happens. We picked this... More

Our daughter was married at the Brown County Inn, June 2014. Perfect. I can not say enough about the staff there - helpful, friendly, professional. The setting down by the creek was beautiful and Town Hall couldn't have been better. The food was delicious - I have to recommend the ham! The rehearsal dinner was there the evening before the...
