Came to the lodge for 1 night stay. The grounds and the lodge itself is lovely! Very relaxing atmosphere with the park nestled all around the building. The swimming area is great with a spacious hot tub and big enough to separate from children. The room however was a disaster!!! I don't mind outdated or rustic, but I do mind... More

we had a family cabin because we needed to sleep 6. the upstairs beds accommodated 4 of us, and 2 were left to the 2 sofa beds in the living room. we had to sleep without pulling out the beds because awful. I don't think the family cabin should be advertised as sleeping up to 8. otherwise, get new sofas.... More

We stayed in one of the rustic sleeping cabins for 2 nights, with plans to go mountain biking and hiking in the park. The cabin we were in (Stew Nugent) was small but very nice. It was one large building split into 4 separate rooms. Since we were in a room designed to sleep 3 (double and twin beds), we... More

Brown County is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the park and at the indoor water park. However, the family cabin we rented was a big disappointment. Housekeeping and maintenance don't seem to be doing their jobs. There was a pile of dirty wood and leaves scattered on the porch and a lot of carpenter ants around. Found... More

We stopped by only to check it out and decided to stay 1 night. We were on our way back from vacation in another IN state park but we just had to hang out here for awhile before ending out trip. It was such a nice place overall - the room was clean and spacious, the pool was fun for... More

We only stayed two nights in July but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was very clean. The water park was smaller than some but just the right size for us and for families with small children. The food in the restaurant on site was delicious and plentiful. The lodge is in close proximity to Nashville, Indiana which has many... More

I had not been to Brown County State Park for 60 years. When I returned in July I found it just as lovely as ever. It has been around so long it has old style class and charm. The Abe Martin Inn is sweet - I stayed in one of the simple but adequate cabins. This is a Nature place... More

Abe Martin Lodge has large rooms, small bathrooms, and is clean and comfortable if somewhat dated. The beds were fine - not luxury, but more than adequate. Lounge area with games and large fireplace was nice. It's beautifully landscaped and set in the lovely Brown County State Park. Staff was very friendly. Water park was nice - we didn't get... More

Staff was very friendly. They did not have the buffet set up. the two of us had the club sandwich. It was a good sandwich. We also got the soup and salad bar. The cold bar was very nice and had lots of good selections. The soup was good as well. The lodge atmosphere was very nice and rustic. I... More

Cons: WiFi service was sucked everywhere, food off menu was horrible, (grill was not working) beds where extremely uncomfortable (my opinion) and firm Pros: Rooms where very clean, Buffet where AWESOME, Setting was beautiful, water park, lots of activities in the park/nearby, saddle barn was awesome horses where feed well and it was a beautiful ride.
