This is the second time we have stayed here and really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere the resort offers. With the family we enjoyed days of tennis, lounging by the pool and utilising the gym facilities. On our own we are enjoying the peace & quiet. The manager is very friendly and has recommended many lovely places to visit in the... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week in July, 2014. We did not realize it was winter in Australia!! No problem, the weather was in the high 60's to low 70's the whole week. There were several beaches within walking distance, and these were mostly deserted. It was a little chilly for sunbathing, but perfect for visiting to... More

Hi Samuel B, So happy to hear you had a great stay with us – bush turkey and all! We loved your comment “It was kind of like a cooler Hawaii without all the people.” We like to think so! Please do not hesitate in coming back and staying with us again very soon. More

Stayed here with family recently. Wildlife great. Bush turkeys and kookaburras very friendly. Facilities good. Pool and spa area great. Good playground and games room. Villas are tired. No oven. This was fine as we tended to eat out. No bath though which we found very inconvenient with little kids and a baby. Need to watch hot water too to... More

We stayed for a week in a reasonably well equipped detached villa with no views but some scrub turkeys and other birdlife around made the outside passable. The local beach would have been excellent and only a few minutes walk away if the weather wasn't so cold. There were lots of good walks to do in the local area but all... More

When you go away you want everything to be right and unfortunately the way this 'resort' is run, reduced our entire experience. Small Zip water heaters for a 6-sleeper rooms means you run out of hot water and have cold showers unless you stagger them 45 minutes apart. The dish washing detergent is so diluted it lasts only 2 washes,... More

Spent a week in a roomy 3 Bedroom updated villa with friends and it is a great spot to relax and use as a base to investigate the great lakes region. All the staff are great and nothing was to difficult with the native bush turkeys and kookaburras always ready for a free feed. Very clean and tidy smoke free... More

We stayed for a week in a reasonably well equipped detached villa with views over the forest (lots of birdlife). The local beach was excellent and only a few minutes walk away. There were lots of good walks to do in the local area yet all of the facilities of a major town (supermarkets, restaurants, shops etc) were only 15 minutes... More

Having stayed a number of times at this resort, it is like checking in to visit family. They are always there to greet us, leave the key out if we are going to be a late check in (and leave the outside light on for you if you are). Lots of relaxing activities to do around the local area such... More

We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa, detached and seperate from others, 2 bathrooms but would have loved a bath! We got the feeling of being closed in because there are so many villas on a small area! Don't expect any views, far from it, tennis court and pool/spa were great. Games room/rec room was well laid out. Laundry machines... More

After being in the car for more than 6hrs with two kids (one a toddler) we were hoping to find comfortable accommodation to split up our return trip to Sydney. Deciding on the Great Lakes region, a spot I had visited many times in my youth and wanted to show my wife and kids. We arrived at dusk with kids... More
