Shafer Shores is a place of relaxation and fun. While stayin in the quiet cabins, you can view the beautiful lake from the porch. The beach in front of the cabins is kept extremely nice, and it's a great place for family and friends to hang out. The rental boats are very nice and the service is great. Shafer Shores is a great atmosphere, and would be a wonderful place for anyone to stay! more

If you are looking for a place to stay for a week in monticello this is where u want to stay. From the owners, kevin and lauren, to the people who help them out they r the best. The cabins r clean and in excellent shape..they have grills and there is a sandy beach and even a pit to have campfires at nite. there is a wonderful play area for the kids and the best part is ur r far enuff away from indiana beach not to hear the noise...but close enuff to jump in ur car and go. more
