We just returned from a weeknight stay. We went to Mitchell to see the Gus Grissom museum and chose the Spring Mill Inn because of the location. The Inn is charming and spending time in the public areas was enjoyable. There were noticeable signs of age and wear in our room but it was very clean and everything was in... More

We stayed over the 4th weekend and had a great time. My kids loved the pool which is both indoor and outdoor where they can swim under to window to go between the two. The restaurant was a different story. The wait staff was nice and everybody tried to be accommodating but it took and hour and a half to... More

There were 4 of us senior citizens who drove up from Evansville for lunch and what a terrible experience we had. Took 40 minutes to get our food and it was way below standard..grilled tenderloin was cold and dry and the bun very hard or stale. The men ordered breakfast and the portions were very small on 4 separate plates.... More

We stayed at Spring Mill Inn in early July 2014. The rooms are quaint, nice and clean. We have been to Spring Mill many times and have always enjoyed eating at the restaurant in the Inn. In the past they have had wonderful buffets, but not this time. There was no buffet and the food we ordered from the menu... More

The perfect place to spend a weekend or a week! We have loved it for many years and are pleased to say it is still the same beautifully charming place. Dining room is greatly improved and prices are family friendly. You won't be disappointed here. So much to do in the Park itself - and the Inn is the perfect... More

Property excellent, Inn excellent, housekeeping excellent, my problem is with the restaurant. The food prepared off the menu is very good; the food on the buffet was High School cafeteria quality; over-cooked and dried out. What really bugged me was the service was very, very inconsistent. I had to ask to be seated the 3 times I went. Dinner buffet... More

If you like camping without the bugs and tents, Spring Mill Inn is for you. This inn is located at the center of Spring Mill State Park. I has lots of hiking and a working grist mill. They also offer cave tours. The historic Inn has many modern touches such as air conditioning and en suite bathrooms. The dining room... More

The last time I was here was in the 60's as a kid. It is exactly as I remember it. Still a quant Inn located in a perfect setting. Lots of trails surrounding the hotel and a very peaceful spot. The room I had was a good size and very clean. I could not find any fault with the hotel... More

The room was clean and comfortable, and the park was beautiful. All in all, a very peaceful place to stay. The staff was friendly and the restaurant, although nothing fancy, was convenient. The Grissom Memorial is nicely done and is only a short hike from the inn. The Pioneer Village is also worth seeing. Most of the caves were closed... More
