What hotel uses actual keys anymore? Our door wouldn't even lock without slamming it. Also, our car got broken into. There aren't any security cameras. This place needs some major upgrades! My family has been going here for our annual family reunion for over 25 years and most everything in the hotel is the same as when I was little.... more

We love this place! The hotel is warm & cozy. The buffet meals are fabulous! The hotel has a game room & indoor/outdoor pool. The pioneer village at the park is a lot of fun (and educational). The kids really liked the boat ride through the cave. more

My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! The room was a true value, the atmosphere remarkable, and the list of things to see endless. The pioneer village and the volunteers doing the interpretations were top-notch, and I should know I use to work weekends at Pleasant Hill at Shakertown in Kentucky. We were still too stuffed from the... more

The room was musty, the food was mediocre and the service was just plan rude. Basic, utilitation rooms without the expected charm of a state park lodge. What may have been a rustic nature of the lobby was overshadowed by lots of "stuff" of little value. The park itself was quite interesting and we've agreed we should have camped instead... more

A coworker recommended Spring MIll Inn to me and my family as a great over night getaway. We have 3 kids. Our twins were celebrating their 11th birthday and it was spring break so we decided to take the 3 hour trip from the Lawrenceburg Indiana/Cincinnati Ohio area. The pioneer village was not open yet but we had a great... more

My wife and I have been going to the Inn in February for the last 20 years, and we just love the place. Great for hiking and great for getting away and relaxing. The town of Mitchell is a good place to get a bite to eat. The entire area is a must do trip....... more

We like to camp, but they had room in the Inn, so we stayed there. The inn is nice. Nothing too fancy, but affordable. Not many channels on the TV (but we were not there to watch TV). They have a DVD player in each room and DVDs you can rent at the Front Desk. There is also a Red... more

This was the third year in a row that my wife and I stayed at the Spring Mill Inn. We stayed for 8 nights and loved every minute of it. My wife's birthday is the 13th of February, so we stay for her birthday and Valintine's day (there is always a special dinner on or around Valintine's day). Even better... more

My wife and I stayed at the Spring Mill Inn for 3 days/2 nights. It was a wonderful trip. The Inn is located in a Sate Forest, beautiful nature and deer, has a very woodsy feel. The staff was very polite and friendly, especially the servers at the in-house restaurant, (mostly a buffet). The beds were very comfortable, every floor... more

We stayed one night at the Spring Mill Inn and wish we could've stayed longer. Very impressed with the comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. We had two teenage girls with us, who loved the indoor/outdoor pool and being able to swim outside in October! Particulary enjoyed the decor, the game room with board games, ping pong, etc.., and the overall atmosphere... more
