This hotel is fine for our personal business in the area. However, in making a reservation with the Fairfield reservation service (not at the location), we were offered a frequent stay rewards membership. We thought we might get discounts or coupons because of the frequency of our stays. NOT THE CASE. They used our charge card for a $12.00 monthly... more

Stayed here one night in July on our way West. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast in morning. Downside was a very small elevator. Would stay again if the price is right! more

We stayed here for the week-end June 21st for a wedding. The room was very nice. We got a KING bed. The bed was sooo comfortable and we had six pillows. Bathroom and shower was very clean. We went for a swim in their pool and used the jacuzzi. Very nice. In the morning they have a great continental breakfast... more

We had a great night's sleep at this Fairfield. I stay at a lot of Marriott properties through work, and this one was better than most Courtyards (which are pricier and usually have nicer accommodations). The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The kids used the pool and spa and had a blast. Our room was immaculately clean and comfortable.... more

If you are planning to visit Notre Dame in South Bend, this hotel is an excellent choice. Friendly and helpful staff, with clean and well furnished rooms. Far enough from I-80 so no traffic noise and a very quiet but modern commercial area. Many restaurants nearby and very easy to reach the ND campus. Would definitely stay there again more

When my party of 5 (all adults) first got to this hotel, we had a problem right at the beginning. Firstly, we made a reservation for 2 rooms with close proximity to each other, 1 with a King Bed, 1 with 2 Queens. The Fairfield Inn staff messed up our reservation and only had 2 rooms, with 2 Queens down... more
