From the call to schedule the reservation to the check out process everyone at this hotel was great. Rooms were clean. Staff was professional. Safe area of the city with lots to do around the hotel. The Extended Stay Amrica is targeted for, you guessed it, people who stay for an extended period of time. It is located in the center of the shopping district along with about a dozen other hotels. First of all, you have to understand that I have stayed in Mishawaka 4-5 times in the past by using priceline and getting the Springhill Suites -- which is a great hotel-- for less than $50 a night. We stayed in this hotel for a ND football weekend. We got a smoking room, but there was no cigarette/cigar odor. The room was clean, although the dishes, glassware and utensils that were included had a few cracks in them and could have used a good washing. Beds were not made and room was not cleaned after our first night.... more
