We were looking for an inexpensive overnight stay as we traveled to Michigan. We found the hotel to be very clean, the staff pleasant, and the location central. more

I've stayed here a few times before (when it was a Holiday Inn) and I am so impressed with the new look of the hotel. They did a terrific job updating the look along with the redecorating of the rooms, pool area and adding a breakfast area. The great employees they have at the front desk are still there, and... more

Currently under renovation, our family was booked into a king suite after traveling 600 miles with a tween and a preschooler. Although the hallway was completely torn up, our room was amazing. It was the most spacious suite I've ever been in. While my husband did a dinner run, the kids and I enjoyed the brand new indoor pool and... more

We needed a place to stay at the last minute. Although the sign outside said "Holiday Inn" it was in the process of being converted to a Clarion. Apparently Clarion was too embarassed by the run down condition to put their name on it, but not too embarassed to charge full price, including extra $$$ for Fri and Saturday nights!... more

The rooms are okay, the staff is friendly...but the staff from the enjoined resturaunt; Damons? TOO FRIENDLY. The waitresses there like to visit male hotel guests after their shifts are completed. Not professional. more

After reading other reviews I was very skeptical but then pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean. We were given a very early check in which was appreciated. I loved the big pool and hot tub. I will definitely stay here again. Came for the apple cider century bike ride. Only drawback was there was a childrens birthday party on Sun.... more

I will never again book a room at this hotel! We paid 130 dollars for one night, the room was disgusting! The hotel was leaking ALL over the place. I don't think that we should have been charged full price for all of the things that were wrong with that place! I felt like I was in some little motel... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn - now a Clarion Inn, for 2 nights when we came to town for a wedding. We chose this hotel because we had Priority Club points for free rooms. I was skeptical as I knew it was probably an old hotel. It is an old hotel in need of updating, but overall it was... more

We traveled here with family and had 3 rooms booked for two nights for this property. Our purpose was to explore the Indiana Dunes and surrounding area. I noted from other Trip Advisor reviews that this may not be the best choice for lodging in MIchigan City, but due to points accumulated from Priority Club I had enough for a... more
