Room was clean, modern and well furnished. Food options at hotel were limited and overpriced IMO. Casino has tables with real dealers so you have a more personal touch when you loose your money. Very popular lighthouse shopping outlet mall just a short drive away.

I stayed in the Blue Chip Tower for 5 nights while visiting family in the area. Contrary to other reviews, I don’t think that it was so run down. It’s not that old of a building, and the room was sufficient. The room was a decent size, was clean, and included a mini-fridge, table with two chairs, and a padded... More

We called two weeks before check-in and changed our room to two beds.... When we checked in our room only had one bed and no rooms available with two beds. Very disappointed. I'd rather stay at the four winds next time

The room was reasonably priced, but the accommodations were very nice. The spa tower had a nice view of the city with Lake Michigan in the distance. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. With restaurants and the casino just downstairs, it was nice to be "in" for the evening and not have to drive anywhere. I would be... More

If you are coming from the west through the rust belt you'll likely be very surprised to see the Blue Chip rise amidst the industrial stacks. Well, it isn't a mirage, it is just very out of place. With that said, the Blue Chip is a true oasis amidst the rust. The hotel sports several restaurants including a pub, steakhouse,... More

If you expect a Vegas class atmosphere...forget it. A good easy fix for a getaway from home, but not for a lengthy time. If a casino buff and drinker, this is the place, but don't expect to get rich. Clean, nice people. Blue Chip Tower, not for the ombeience, good enough to sleep. You get what you pay for, as... More

There is something incredible about a wall made of glass - yes, a HUGE window wall that you can request to overlook the lake and Chicago in the distance. Keep the curtains open at night (if you are on a high floor) to watch thunderstorms - the lightshow is incredible!!!!!

The spa tower is the bomb. Great rooms for a little over a hundred dollars. My wife and I have stayed here almost every anniversary for 8 years. This time we got the corner room which cost a little more but is great for a two night stay.

We were really looking forward to a nice stay, but the first thing we noticed was the overwhelming stale smoke smell a long ways from the casino floor. Yuck. A long line and 15-30 minute wait to get checked in. We were placed in the older portion of the hotel - Blue Chip Tower. It is closer to the pool... More
