Stayed here so we could do some canoeing on Sugar Creek. Was really impressed with the Inn itself, and our room was quite lovely. We had never stayed here before, but as a birthday surprise for my husband, I had already booked a room for the EIF in late January & February 2015...now I know what to expect. The bed... More

We stayed in the sleeping room cabin. The minute we opened the door, we were overcome by the smell of mold and mildew. It smelled like an old, wet, moldy basement. We immediately went to the front desk and the young ladies working the front desk said all of the cabins smelled like that and they would send a "special... More

We met for a family reunion at Turkey Run and stayed at the Inn. Although it's not 5 star accomodations, it's typical of most state park inns and fine for our purposes. The part of the inn that our room was located in had been renovated since the last time we were there, but other members of our party had... More

Had a family reunion here. I love the Indiana State Park Inns, but this one is just average. The shelter we reserved was great, the staff, trails and naturalists are great, but not enough meeting areas as there are in some of the other inns. Buffet is above average and check out the continental breakfast on the balcony. I would... More

King room on top floor was spacious and nicely furnished. Room was clean and very pleasant. This is an old building and it has that feel/tiny bit of smell to it (my nose is very sensitive, and this was subtle not a problem!) Lots of big family groups visiting, and they all seemed very happy. There are places for groups... More

I reserved 2 nights in one of the cabins next to the Inn. Immediately after setting foot in room, my husband and I noted a very strong mold/mildew smell. I went to the desk to ask for a different room but was told there was nothing available that night. They had the housekeeper go in and run some sort of... More

We love visiting Turkey Run SP for the great hiking. We have stopped at the Inn on some of our previous visits to the park, but had never stayed or ate there before. While the setting of the inn is very nice, we were a little disappointed with our overnight stay there. Our room was very average. The room was... More

We used the Turkey Run Inn as our base camp for 3 days of Parke County Covered Bridge touring. It was in the perfect location to fit our needs but there were issues. They put us in a room on the first floor, south side of the main building and could not use a luggage cart as there is no... More
