I did not like this hotel--and i am huge fan of hampton inn. I would suggest the Michigan City Hampton, just a few exits down the road. The location is bad---just a highway exit ..nothing else nearby, the staff was very nasty. And the hotel policy seems to be anti-guest service. Never again hampton inn laporte more

This hotel has a mold problem in its bathrooms. Be forewarned... I am a Diamond Hilton HHonors Member who stays in the Hampton Chain at least 3 nights per week. Where I Love this hotel chain, this specific location needs to address this issue more
