There is no front entrance. You actually have to drive through a restaurant parking lot on either side, go all the way to back service alley and pull into the parking lot from the back. Other than that, we had a nice stay. We were on the first floor at the end (murder central) and it was quiet and extremely... More

I was at first a little afraid to stay here given some negative reviews. After a little research found that most of them are dated. This hotel is one of the nicer I have stayed at and this is coming from a true road dog. Over the past 9 years I stay in a different hotel in a different city... More

I chose this hotel because of a coupon in a travel book before reading any reviews except the Marriott website information. After reading the negative reviews here I think a lot of the problems have been addressed. The hotel is located 1/4 to 1/2 mile off I-65, it's an awkward entrance but nothing too crazy to get to off that... More

Our room was clean and spacious (queen + pullout suite). There were a wide variety of breakfast choice - free buffet style menu. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze. When we return to Lafayette this will be out first choice

Clean room, Friendly staff and fun breakfast choices. The make your own waffle was really nice. Requested a newly remodeled room but they said there were none available. The room we had was an older room but very clean and nice. I wish all hotels would adopt the remote sleeve for TV remotes-such a great idea. I would definitely stay... More

Seven of my family members stayed at the Fairfield Inn Lafayette last Saturday night, and I just had to write a review because it was such a good experience. It's all the things you'd expect from a quality hotel - clean rooms, clean public spaces, safe and free parking, easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff. But these folks had free... More

there was renovation going on, but they told me when I made the reservation and when I checked in. Someone always said hello when I walked in the lobby. Good choices for the breakfast buffet. Room was clean and big, but nothing really special about it. Would stay here again

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. For what you're paying for, this is as good as it gets. The rooms are clean and nicely sized, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating (even to a demanding old codger like myself), and the food they serve is great. Even though there was construction going on while I visited,... More

Strangest street layout ever!. It's right on a busy street, but you have to circle around to the back and search for the poorly marked entrance to the parking lot. There is a blighted area behind the hotel right across from the entrance; looks like a bomb crater. There was construction going on, and to their credit, they did notify... More

This is a very nice place to stay. The front desk staff was very nice, the breakfast was good (as good as any other continental breakfast), and the remodeled parts of the hotel very really nice. We had a double queen room it was a very spacious and clean.
