A stunning old building set back from the road and beautifully restored. I chose it as we were visiting Yuso and Suso monasteries and then going towards Rioja. The host did not speak English but translated by speaking into his ipad. Very funny> Stunning room...the pictures do it justice. Breakfast was an amazing feast. Do stay here if in the... More

Two times we stayed here. And both times we were reluctant to leave. The location is beautifully restored, and the rooms are all unique and very pleasant. Very comfortable beds! The management is very friendly and hospitable. After a lovely breakfast (your eggs are prepared according to your wishes). Our favorite place to stay in this part of the Rioja!

This is our second visit to this splendid hotel. Spacious, tranquil, beautifully decorated and amazingly welcoming. This is one hotel we would highly recommend. A true gem. Very gracious and welcoming owners who cannot do enough to make your stay a delight. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful well restored hotel. Excellent comfort and detailing of all rooms. Gorgeous full breakfast. Best place to stay in Rioja. Hosts were wonderful. 10 minutes drive to Haro so quite central. Certainly our best stay in Spain, if not globally for the price.

It's really difficult to describe our experience at Palacio without fear of doing it injustice! This is a place of quiet, grandeur, unnpaparelled hospitality, and incomparable comfort. It's an old mansion that has recently been most lovingly renovated with indescrible attention to every niche and corner. One's eyes rest only on beauty, all of it created by the lovely family...
