The family went for a 3 night weekend stay at the Sleep Inn in Jasper as a launching point for nearby Holiday World Amusement Park. I chose this hotel based on reviews on TripAdvisor. This place was very nice. The room was clean and we got the rate for only around $62 per night AAA rate on Memorial Day weekend. The room had all the necessities you really need, iron/ironing board/hairdryer, shampoo/soap plus a flatscreen tv (rare in budget hotels) and also a microwave/refrigerator. This location was good for our weekend trip. The property could use a little updating. We were on the 3rd floor and the neighboring room was noisy. There was a drain smell in the room that seemed to be concentrated in the shower stall. We had to buy air freshner to mask the smell. Since we were only staying one... more
