Traveling on business and needed to be in the heart of Indy but at a hotel around the govt. per diem rate. My company's travel agency picked this hotel.
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere unless you are going to the football stadium. Surrounded by empty lots and construction.
Asked for non-smoking room but the room smelled of stale cigarettes. Other than that, room was relatively clean. Nothing spectacular. Hotel provided a continental breakfast of the usual pastries, coffee, cereal. Lobby was comfortable for pre-meeting discussions over breakfast. There was a convienence store int he lobby for toilitries and such. Hotel has high-speed internet for free and it worked well.
Asked front desk for recommendations for eating and she said she didn't know the area and gave us a list of 50,000 eating establishments. QA bit frustrating for first-time visitors to the city. We had to walk a good 6 blocks in an area that was not well traveled and a bit shady to...
