Very clean and friendly staff! Comfy beds. Great breakfast and happy hour. The rooms were laid out great! Good coffee. Just the right touches to make my business trip great! I would definitely return. It is in the heart of downtown with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Place was nice back in th 90s but now 25 years later it needs a refresh top to bottom. The stairways and parking garage is ratty and not being maintained for one's health and not even for appearance. It makes my skin crawl when I think about how poorly maintained it is and I have to breath the air here.

Our family stayed at Embassy Suites August 2, 2014. The location was perfect for downtown Indianapolis. Our room was pretty large, with a separate bedroom. We had plenty of room (2 adults, 3 children). The hotel was completely booked, yet we still had wonderful service - from the front desk, concierge, lounge and restaurant. The staff was attentive and very... More

My wife and I had a very enjoyable weekend at this hotel. The evening receptions (and the food provided with the receptions), the proximity to the downtown mall, and the hot breakfasts - all contributed to a great weekend!

Embassy Suites has good rooms, but the amenities are lacking. Internet access is $12/day - and it went down, with customer service refusing to provide a discount or refund. The breakfast service is significantly worse than what you can get at the Drury Inn or similar hotels. We couldn't even get pillows for the fold-out couch in our room (no... More

This is our first stay at the Embassy Downtown. We traveled to Indianapolis for the MotoGP race on 8-10-14. It was easy to find the parking garage and get checked in. The desk attendant was pleasant and helpful. We traveled to the 14th floor and found our room easily. The room was spacious with a small living area with fridge... More

I travel for work so I'm always in hotels. I tried this Embassy Suites downtown because it was close to my client. I think ES used to be the nice place to stay (from a chain perspective) but they are going downhill fast. Bathrooms needed to be upgraded, tub needs to be reglazed or replaced and minimally an upgrade to... More

I've been staying at the Downtown Embassy Suites for several years now during the Gen Con gaming convention. I've always gotten great service, the free breakfast is always top notch, and the room is always great to come back to after a day of convention going. I will always recommend this hotel to friends and family!

We paid over $250 for one night stay. We stayed in one of the corner suites (it cost more so I was expecting something nice). The furniture was worn and looked dirty, the shower looked old/dirty and the walls needed cracks filled and new paint. This was a very expensive lesson.

Overall the trip was good but the rooms are in need of updating. The pullout was uncomfortable and at that time the parking garage was under construction making it hard to find parking along with having to pay each day to park
