Located in a charming location, with ample parking in the back, the inn is wonderful old house with lots of character. Gary is a warm, gracious host who welcomed us upon arrival. First things first - homemade cookies were front and center, along with bottled water and soda. I actually ate four of the cookies that night - sorry, Gary.... More

My wife & I stayed at this bed & breakfast several weeks ago, and it was our first time staying at a B&B. The house was beautiful, the location was great (close to the city), and Gary was an exemplary host. We could not have asked for a better first experience, with the only regret being that we could not... More

My husband and I went to Indianapolis for our 25th anniversary and he found this charming B&B as a surprise for me. It was wonderful! Gary, the owner, is great. The location is very convenient to everything you'd want to do in Indy and the rooms were beautiful (we stayed in the Bridal Room). The snacks and entertainment choices if... More

We came to Indy to watch a Colts game and stayed here after the game. Absolutely loved this place! Gary is a wonderful host, everything was perfect! Breakfast was delicious, more snacks than any bed and breakfast we've stayed at, just a very nice touch. Looking forward to coming back later this year.

We have been visiting Indianapolis for the past 7 summers for DCI World Championships and only in our final visit did we discover Old Northside Inn. It was a charming experience and we very much enjoyed meeting our host, Gary. Highly recommend his venue to other travelers.

This was our first trip to Indy as tourists. In light of that, Old Northside was an excellent place to stay. The location was very convenient. Gary gave great driving directions to the sights we wanted to see. The room was comfortable, allowing for an peaceful nights sleep. The generous breakfast and pleasant conversation got our sight-seeing off to a... More

We bid on this at a silent auction. Living only approx 30 mins away, we went here for an anniversary getaway weekend. We were given the bridal suite. It was romantic with a quiet charm, It was very interesting to walk through the house. There were pictures of the proprietor and his family as well as many well known people.... More

My wife and I were given a night's stay for our 50th wedding anniversary, and an interesting stay it was. Gary met us at the door and gave us a brief tour of the spacious old home built in 1885. It is modernized without sacrificing the charm of 10' ceilings and original woodwork throughout. He has a huge collection of... More

Pros: Location, off-street parking, the hostess. Cons: Overall, the inn is oddly decorated. I counted 51 plastic flower arrangements in the common areas. There is so much stuff that you can't appreciate the fireplace, woodwork, architecture, etc. A good cleaning would help. Only saw our room (Tiffany) and the 'Wedding Suite.' Our room was as filled with as much stuff... More
