This is the old Canterbury Hotel with a great face lift. It's just a few months old and everything is in great shape and super clean, fresh but cozy vibe. Everyone was incredibly friendly and it's in a great location, walkable to a ton of shops and restaurants. Service was A+. Point of interest, it's right by Lucas Stadium.

I was traveling on business this week & Indianapolis was booked for the NFL Combine. I was looking forward to staying at this new hotel that was formerly the old Canterbury Hotel. A few things to note: Pros: -The bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed not only for a Starwood (I'm a gold member) but for any hotel I've... More

Hello Michellenyc8b, Thank you for staying with us this past weekend during the combine. I appreciate your candid review and apologize you experienced difficulty with In Room Dining during your stay. These are simple things that should not have happened and we will certainly get them fixed. While we do not often hear of WiFi challenges, I have went ahead... More

I have passed this historic building countless times, but have NEVER considered staying at the old Canterbury hotel, which has been in this space forever. When I was deciding on our anniversary weekend getaway, I did some research and found that this space had undergone a multimillion dollar acquisition and renovation by the luxury Le Meridien chain. Usually, when my... More

This is a brand new Le Meridien property (formerly the Canterbury Hotel) that has been completely remodeled and is now new, fresh and fun. The lobby areas are like a comfortable living room with all types of seating, tables, a fireplace and windows to view the activity on South Illinois. There is also a restaurant and bar on the lobby... More

We stayed here literally on the second night the hotel was open in December. There were a few kinks that they had work out, like the hall telephone that was sitting on the floor and the room that wasn't ready when we arrived, but all in all, it seemed that the management worked really hard to make sure that we... Hello tshissler, Thank you for being one of our first guests at Le Meridien Indianapolis. I am glad to hear that overall your stay was good and I appreciate your patience with us being that it was our opening week. There are certainly kinks with any opening, however we are glad to be on our third month of operation now... More

My wife and it wanted to get away for some quick R and R and chose the Le Meridien because of the location and the earlier reviews being very good. Some of the bad reviews had us questioning our decision, but we thought we would take a chance. We arrived earlier and Jerrod checked us in and was easy to... More

Hail to Le Meridian! We went to see Casablanca at the Indianapolis Symphony and decided to eat dinner at Spoke & Steel. I made the reservation and thought I would check rates for Le Meridian for the night. The rates were very reasonable and the rooms are very nice. However, what stands out the most is the staff. I truly have... More

I had to keep reminding myself I was in Indianapolis. This renovated hotel looks and feels very European. Loved the door detail on the shower in my hotel room. The bed was a little soft for my preferences but I like a really firm mattress. Beautiful, classic, upscale decor at a reasonable price.

We stayed for one night only. Room was incredibly small, just big enough for the king size bed and a nice TV at the foot of the bed. Bathroom was the best, especially the shower.Short distance to the Bankers Fieldhouse. After the game, we stopped for some food and decided to have a cocktail at the hotel lounge. With 14... More

Hotel is newly renovated and looks nice. Lobby is a little tight but was upgarded to a mini-suite because of my Platinum status. Room was clean, modern, and overall very comfortable (lacks views though). Bellboys and front desk personnl were friendly and very helpful.
